Comprehensive collection of vintage lamps, fixtures and other interesting items. We always enjoy visiting and finding unique items for the house or for gifts. The owner is very pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable about all types of lighting. A little known fact is that they also repair traditional lamps. Worth a visit while in Wimberly.

Lovely store. The selection of Antique Lighting is amazing. The owner certainly knows her stuff about lighting. Impressed that she has worked on many historical buildings and rents to movie sets. I purchased a dining room chandelier. I love it and looks fantastic. I also picked up a sweet necklace for a gift. Thank you for all your help! I'll be back.

Great place to find antique light fixtures beautifully restored. You can also find both small and large antiques and lawn art.

I cannot recommend Star Antique enough! My husband and I found the perfect oversized drum chandelier for our dining room and had to have it. The problem was, it's a very large piece and we were right in the middle of having our new home built and moving from an apartment so we couldn't store it in the meantime. The shop owner, Lisa, ended up keeping the light for 5 months while we waited for construction to end, and she charged just $100 to shorten the downrod to our preferred length. The chandelier is installed now and we absolutely love it. Lisa runs a friendly and professional business with so many interesting pieces. Worth a visit!

Very sweet lady. She rewired an antique hanging lamp for us. Excellent job. If you are looking for vintage lighting or in need of repairs, this is the place. Awesome little antique shop.

This place had lots of chandeliers, and salvage light fixtures. You will find antiques inside, and welded art outside. Small shop, so it won't take long to look around. It was worth looking, but I didn't find anything inside for myself. Walking distance from a few other shops, so if you park next door, you can hit a few areas at once.

Way too many items were "hobby lobby style", reproduced chic decor. More of a vintage resale shop than an antique store.

Star Antique is my absolute favorite shop in Wimberly. It's a feast for the eyes, chock filled with treasures everywhere you look. The garden surrounding the shop is full of statuary, fountains, unique bird feeders and outdoor lighting hanging from the branches of a huge oaks tree. Inside, from the ceiling hang custom light fixtures and chandeliers of every vintage.

They have a nice selection of lamp shades, finials and parts. On the shelves, you'll find carefully curated collections of antiques and gift items. Star Antique is a unique and special.

Eclectic selection with a very friendly owner. The prices were also quite reasonable we were very pleased.

A most imaginative shop with lighting creations hanging everywhere, wrought iron furniture and accents, accessories, whimsical pieces and decorative collectables everywhere. YOU HAVE TO GO HERE! There is really no way to describe it. And it's a real treat meeting the owner/artist when she emerges from her workshop. A "best kept secret" and local gem. Lamp repair service, too!

Lisa has been fulfilling my antique lighting needs for years. Always makes me smile to see my ideas realized. Great inventory of parts, shades and vintage treasures.

What a cool shop full of interesting indoor and outdoor frippery. If you're into garden kitsch and cool re-imagined vintage and antique lighting this is the shop for you. I'm glad we meandered down River Rd and found this hidden gem.

Star Lighting and Antiques is a fantastic, off-the-square, gem of a shop. Lisa has lovingly collected, resurrected, restored, created, or consigned literally thousands of unique pieces - and somehow managed to make the shop have a cohesive feel. Everywhere you look, there's something you could see in your home, give as a gift, or just take home and figure it out later. Lisa also does restoration work directly for customers, rather than for resale.

She restored a twenty year-old piece for my front porch during a renovation. With the new color, and restored parts, the piece is better than anything i could have purchased new - and she did it at a fraction of a new purchase price. If you go in the shop, be prepared to turn sideways to get through the aisles - there's stuff on top of stuff in there - or just leave money in the outside box for something you picked up in the shop's front yard, if you find yourself there after hours.
