We had our outdoor landscape lights installed by Anthony with Got Lights around 7 years ago. I have loved the lights all around our home and also love how they are connected to an app which we can control anytime. We've had just a few minor issues over the years, like one of the lights not working or when the main fuse went out, and Anthony made sure to resolve those issues timely and professionally.

Just recently, he patiently helped me troubleshoot over the phone (in which I requested) when our landscape lights would not turn on. He was able to solve the issue over the phone quite easily. I really appreciate that he has always answered the phone throughout these past 7 years and that he always cares to make sure we are very happy with our system and his business. Thank you Anthony!

We used Got Lights for our landscape lighting. Really great experience with Anthony from start to finish. He really has a passion for his work! We had a few issues along the way, as in most all large projects. Anthony was quick to work with us, and we came up with a solution that worked out for all. We will be using them for Christmas lights also!

I've used Got Lights for both my holiday lights as well as landscape lighting for both the front & back yards. I really appreciated the up front pricing & that there was no "hard sell" to try and get me to purchase more then I needed. Very easy to work with and Anthony followed up with me several times to make sure I was happy & everything was working. Everything looks & works great.

After five years of continued issues with setup, blown-out light switches, we Lost all of our freezer and refrigerator food one year because blew a circuit breaker when on vacation, after they had installed a dedicated circuit and still used all outside plugs. Last year broke several roof tiles installing lights. Then left us high and dry this year as we didn't install lights after paid.

They left us with a couple of weeks before Christmas out of no lights for the holidays. I would never recommend and mishandled. My fault for staying with them when they made the same breaker issues three years in a row. This is all completely unacceptable. I would be very cautious ever using this company. I would never recommend and will make sure to make all my neighbors aware.

In your response. Which is false. We replied, and you should check your emails, or I would be happy to send the four emails sent to respond to damaged tile responsibility. For the LED lights at a cost, I could buy anywhere for half your cost rates. So call major BS there for cost. I will make my mission to make sure all know how you left us this Christmas year already in such a stained year. I feel handled completely unprofessional.

Anthony with Got lights is the nicest person ever. He goes out of his way to help and really knows lights. This small business like many other small Buisness have been hit hard. I have personally seen him deal with the lack of available supplies, consistent and available seasonal employees wing scarce but still doing his best to get peoples Christmas lights up in a timely manor.

I see people being tolerant with restaurants and bars at this different time in our lives and have seen others being intolerant. I never would have thought that a Christmas Lightning company would have been affected by COVID but I have first hand knowledge of the trials this small Buisness has been working with but still doing their best. Thank you Got Lights for the blessing you have been to me.

I used them several years ago and they were great.called a while back and talk to a lady about repairs.she said they would be out week after next. It never happened, so i called back, she remembered me and said she lost my number, so i gave her all pertinent info and still no one came out. now calling for a third time.basically if its not a big job i dont think they want to do anything even if its something they did install.

We just got our landscape lighting installed. Anthony was professional and honest. Based on the demonstration, we determined that a few lights were not needed. Also, they installed LED rail lights which really increased our the curbside appeal and safety. The quote we got was reasonable. We used app-control to program the lights. Overall, very happy with the service. I would highly recommend Got Lights!

Our house looks awesome for Christmas and as soon as we had an issue, the owner came out right away and fixed it. I highly recommend them!

I have not been pleased with their service. It is hard to get a hold of them for one. And two, when they installed the landscape lighting they did not dig deep enough to hide the wires. I have loose wires running throughout my yard.

We were referred to Got Lights by our neighbors, and we are glad we got our holiday lights from Got Lights! They were quick in their response, giving an estimate and actually installing all the lights the next day itself. It was a wonderful experience working with Sarah, she carefully listened to our requirements, explained to us the whole process, gave recommendations for our house and drew a whole blueprint of our roofline lights too.

The only improvement or future suggestion there could be is - If only the bulbs were a little denser, specially in the roofline, it would be AMAZING! We look forward to many more years of lights with Got Lights! I highly recommend Sarah and Got Lights Team!

Paid out the nose for the initial investment - well over $1500. After 2 years, they just left the boxes of lights and a note saying they aren't servicing our area anymore. Now I have these "custom lights" that nobody will install. They have decided it is not profitable enough for them to service my neighborhood, despite the $600 plus just to install (which took them about an hour and a half).

Total failure to show customers respect for their choosing you over a mega company like ABC. No warning this was coming, not even a courtesy call. No offer to buy back the supplies or discount the final year. Just took the money and ran. Back to square one.down several thousand dollars but hey, I have these crappy spliced lights crammed in cardboard boxes. Ho Ho Ho!

ANthony is fantastic. Reasonable prices and this guy knows exactly what he is doing. Not only did he do a great job with my repair, he also took one of my lights in to be replaced under warranty for free. I highly recommend Got Lights!

GOT Lights installed my Christmas lights for two years. The initial costs were quite an investment, but the costs were supposed to include storage forever and you only had to pay for installation each year afterwards. After my second year, this company just left the lights on the porch (broken glass on the front porch too) with a note that read they would no longer service our area. It seems another user experienced exactly what my family experienced. Don't let this company ruin your next Christmas, folks.

This company started out really well 3 years ago. This year they fell short. It was hard to get them to answer emails and phone calls. Today after a phone call and email, they took down the lights and left them on our front porch. After emailing them, they said they were not longer going to service our area via email. Wow, just wow.

We used got lights quite successfully in 2016 and 2017, however 2018 has been a very different experience. Despite four messages left in November and December, the lights still have not been installed (keep in mind that these are lights which we have previously bought and own). At this point with only a couple of weeks between now and the holiday, we have elected to cancel our installation.

Poor communicators. difficult to contact. Lights are supposed to be up in time for holiday season and are not yet functional/acceptable. avoid.

This is the first year we used Got Lights for lighting on our home during Christmas. Got Lights did an amazing job! They have been super friendly and responsive from giving a quote, to installing the lights, and fixing non-working bulbs. I have recommended this company with confidence in our neighborhood and know that anyone who uses this company will be extremely satisfied. We'll be giving them a call in the future for landscape lighting needs as well.

They are fantastic. Excellent customer service. Super quick to respond. We had them install our landscaping lights in our front and back yard (which turned out beautifully) and they do our Christmas lights. They were recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I chose them. Highly recommend!

This is a great company. They were competitive in their quote to other landscape lighting companies but more creative and technological innovative than the others. They performed exactly as promised and on time. Anthony loves his work and it shows. Highly recommend this company! This review was written 3 years ago and they just came out and replaced a bulb under warranty for FREE. What a great company!

My lights, and my faith in Got Lights have been restored. They have been to my home twice to make sure everything's working as designed. Thanks, Anthony!

My partner and I were excited to hire professional holiday light installers, and we requested a quote online on Saturday afternoon from Got Lights ("Serving Austin and Surrounding Areas") after seeing the positive reviews and photos on Yelp. That form included our home address, which is less than 2 miles east of Downtown Austin. On Monday, I received a call from a friendly woman at Got Lights to schedule a time for an in-person quote.

We scheduled their first available appointment, on Wednesday morning (today) at 8:30 am. Friendly woman confirmed my street address and zip code on the phone, reading it back to me. Later that evening, I got a voicemail and email asking if we could move the appointment to 11:30, because she didn't realize how far away our house was from where our quote-person would be starting from (I assumed, another home) and she was worried about traffic, but that if we needed to keep 8:30, they would try to make it work but might be a little late.

I responded and said we were unavailable at 11:30 but a little after 8:30 would be fine. At 8:10 am this morning, 20 minutes before our scheduled appointment, Got Lights called to tell me our home is outside of their service area so they wouldn't be able to give us a quote--they didn't realize until they mapped it this morning. That explanation is obviously false, given all of the back and forth about our address and time and traffic on Monday. So, the 1-star review is for wasting 4 days of time I could have been scheduling with another company (we're traveling this weekend, so now we probably can't get lights up until the 12th at the earliest) and for lying about why the quote couldn't be fulfilled.

We worked with Anthony to set up the outdoor lighting on our house. Here's why working with them is great: 1) They communicate (had to reschedule one time - no biggee when they call and let you know ahead of time) 2) They do a free set up of sample lights so you can see if there are too many or too few 3) pricing is fair, upfront and all inclusive and 4) the app to run them is easy and awesome. The whole process was easy and the lights look AMAZING. What a difference. We hope to use them for Christmas lights!

Our Got Lights holiday lights are up and we couldn't be happier. We got the multi-color lights and love the way they frame our house, exceeding our expectations. This is our first time to have holiday lights installed along the roof lines of our two-story house, and I'm so glad we did. The quote seemed a little pricey but now we see it was well worth it.

We appreciate their professional eye for design and the quality of the installation. The lights are set up on a timer to run from 6 p.m. to midnight, which is perfect. Totally hassle-free for us. Thanks to Got Lights for helping us get into the holiday spirit.

The most horrible customer service I have ever seen. I will never forget the complete meltdown the Got Lights employee just had in front of me and my friends-some of whom have recommended Got Lights before. Anthony, who apparently is the owner, stormed off in huff- like a kindergartener without a snack, and refused to do our night time demo, apparently because my friend plugged in an extension cord without him being there-that attached to a transformer, that by the way, did not have a safety cover on it.

He is either stressed out, or just out to provide really bad customer service- I cannot understand his behavior this evening. His worker had set up lights to do an evening demonstration, and my friend plugged in the transformer before Anthony got here. As soon as Anthony showed up he became incensed, started yelling that he was not going to do the demo, turned the lights off, and drove off without looking our way. Proceed with extreme caution-I have never seen this kind of behavior in a consumer facing business.
