Lighting EFX

I recently worked with Angel purchasing a ceiling fan for my family room with 18' ceilings. She was professional & a pleasure to work with. Her insight in helping me select what would look best in my room was invaluable. I also talked with her about wanting a new light in my foyer which also has an 18' ceiling but was hesitant because of the cost of the size of light I would need.

I had selected a Kircher 36" x 36" bowl light I loved & put in my wish list but still hadn't decided to purchase. Angel called me a couple days later & said they had the exact light, they had had in their showroom but was now in their warehouse sitting in the floor collecting dust. She said I could have it if I wanted to clean it up. I went there, magic eraser in hand, sat in the floor, with the help of two other awesome Lighting EFX employees, a woman who worked in the showroom with Angel & a young man who worked in the warehouse, and cleaned it up & took it home, absolutely free. Love working with family owned businesses. They are my lighting, fan & anything else they sell store for life. Thank you Jackie Isaacs

Recently purchased a chandelier from lighting efx. the chandelier is beautiful unfortunately the store had previously used a chandelier cleaner Satco spray on crystal cleaner while it was on display in the store. The female consultant recommended I use this product on my other crystal lighting in my home. This product left my lighting with awful spots and I noticed after having the chandelier installed that this same product they used on my chandelier left the stainless steel very spotty and very cloudy. warning do not purchase their recommended drip dry Crystal cleaner "SATCO" a total waste of your money

Plenty of lighting choices you will never see in the big box stores but in a space too small to clearly see all the options. Great customer service though.

This store has quality light fixtures at decent prices. I think the bad reviews are probably because I think the store is designed for you to make an appointment. When you have an appointment, you will find that the associates are very kind, attentive, and helpful. When you just walk in they are likely either working with someone else directly or trying to get a quote to someone they just worked with, hence they don't have the time to drop everything and focus on a walk in. I do wish they would have an associate available to help with walk ins.

We recently had a house built and EFX was recommended as a source for lighting and fans. You will find no one better than Angel to guide you through the piles of options. The results were perfect.

Very cool products and friendly staff, they help to make sure that you get what you want. They make sure you get what u need. great quality fixtures with interesting designs that can fit your needs. A great experience, definitely would recommend for anyone looking to buy lights, fans, etc.

I have been there twice in the last two weeks. Both times sales people were annoyed to help. Good products and prices, rude staff so ordered online.

Remember the Julia Roberts movie Pretty Woman? Remember when she tried to go shopping and the pretentious sales woman wouldn't help her? Well, my experience today was that. Keep in mind, unlike the Julia Roberts character, I'm not a hooker. I'm actually very well educated and have a dream job. From the second I stepped foot in the door, I was treated like I was interrupting a stem cell transplant.

Like the sales clerks were in the middle of some heroic life save procedure and I had the audacity to interrupt them. As they flipped through their catalog and looked over their readers at me with distain dripping from their faces, I realized I had had come to the wrong store in which to "shop local". (According to the big sign on the door, they'd like you to believe they want you to "shop local".

Not so much. They flat out told me to go to Amazon.) Here's the deal. They sell light fixtures. They do not cure cancer. It's lighting. Not doing open heart surgery. Selling wires, shiny stuff and light bulbs. Heroes? Elite world changers? Nobel prize winners? Nope. Rude sales women. Seriously. Save yourself the frustration and go to Amazon.

Or Restoration Hardware. Or, Menards for the love! Just DO NOT BOTHER THESE PEOPLE. You are not worth their precious time or attention. They must be about the daunting task of.ummm.not saving lives.

This is a nice place to stop by and browse their selections. As I walked through, one of the consultants was able to answer questions and offer suggestions. Unfortunately, most of the inventory seemed expensive for what it was.

Friendly staff. Amazing product. Especially if you are tired of the general merchandise that most stores carry. Stopped in to stick my toe in the water, and I'm glad I did.

Beware! Took 2 matching lamps in for repair of one socket and one switch. Picked.up lamps and sockets were on backward, cords the wrong color and the green felt on the bottoms of the lamps were sticking out all over and jagged. Returned lamps and the sockets on backwards again [not a big deal], but the base of one lamp was all scratched and the cords were too short.

One is over a foot shorter than the other so it has to be plugged in with an extension cord to reach the socket which is unsightly. For $70 this is not a happy result. No SINCERE apology from Charlene at EFX. Very unhappy and disappointed!
