Our staff has over 160 years of cumulative experience in providing theatrical equipment and services. Established in 1856, and located in Cincinnati Ohio, Beck Studios remains one of the oldest companies in the industry. We are family-owned and operated, and it has been our continuous effort to provide quality products that meet and exceed the needs of an ever-changing industry. The ability to innovate has allowed Beck Studios to operate successfully for over 160 years.
Beck Studios was founded in 1856 by William Beck, an immigrant from Germany who intended to establish himself as a children's tailor. Along the way, he discovered a love of theater and theatrical production and eventually began to supply costumes and props, stage curtains, drops, parade swags, mirror balls, and other stage dressing.
Our work is trusted by venue owners, theaters, architects, and consultants because they know we take the time to "rig-it-right". Our ETCP CERTIFIED installers and staff are factory trained and qualified to install all manner of rigging systems. From traditional manual counterweight sets to, dead hung sets and grids, to modern motorized systems, Beck Studios ensures a proper and safe installation every time.
Beck Studios installs all types of stage rigging systems for a variety of venues, including schools, professional theaters, churches, and MORE. We offer all types of rigging, from basic DEAD HUNG systems to COUNTERWEIGHT and MOTORIZED. Our number one concern is for the safety of your employees, students, and patrons.

Beck Studios came in to install a pit safety net after our recent auditorium renovation. They worked well in conjunction with myself who has more of a theatre background, as well as our corporation's project manager to ensure all construction and code needs were compliant as well. They were accommodating with the schedule and safety needs of the school due to COVID-19, and delivered a great final result!
