We worked with Steve Handelman in Santa Barbara to create a lighting fixture for our Vermont home. He looked at our plans for a new living room addition we were building and created a spectacular chandelier; one that is sculptural in nature as well as a unique art piece for the room while illuminating the room perfectly. The fixture is approximately 5 foot by 8 foot hanging from the ceiling between rafters. Steve took a vision we had, enhanced it, built it beautifully and delivered on time 3000 miles away in perfect condition with excellent quality. We couldn't be a happier. Steve is both an artist and a great business person.

We ordered several fixtures from Steve after close personal consultation with him. The fixtures are GORGEOUS and exactly as promised, and they came impressively fast, with close contact and communication through the process every step of the way. We commissioned Steven Handelman Studios to create light fixtures for our 1920's Spanish Revival Restoration. The project extended over three years with multiple phases. Steve and his staff were amazing to work with. Items were designed, created and shipped all on time. The workmanship on the light fixtures is second to none. Every detail is thought through. I highly recommend their studio and plan to use them every chance I can.

I purchased 4 gate lights and 1 mailbox paid over $ 3000.00. The appearance is good the workmanship and quality is not. The mailbox door wouldn't close and leaked when it rained soaking my mail they wanted to saw the post and weld another mailbox in its place I refused so they had to replace the whole thing. The powder coat on the gate lights started to rust within a couple years so I had to remove them and have them powder coated again. The design on the light casing leaked rain and there was no drain hole, I took the light casings to a local designer they laughed when they saw the quality of the work.

Steven and his team designed and produced six large replica chandeliers which were a part of our recent renovation -- and quite complex to complete. Not only did he meet our aggressive timeline, but the service, communication, and response time were beyond our expectations (thanks Trisha). Being located 2,500 miles from his studio, we were not certain what to expect.

When we received the goods, it was virtually impossible to tell the replicas from the originals! Plus, they were finished before promised and carefully shipped to us door-to-door (even through the recent wildfires). If you need a quality source, Steven is the right choice. He has our highest recommendation (and we are placing another order with him already). Thanks to everyone!
