Lights Beautiful

So I have been sitting on this really great old mid century modern lampshade that my partner got from Habitat for Humanity in 2013. Could never find the right hardware to turn it into a proper pendant lamp for our dining room. It mocked us on the refrigerator for the better part of a decade.literally discovered Lights Beautiful today doing a search and wandered in. An absolutely lovely woman Amy McAvoy had just take down an expensive broken pendant (the globe broke) and her partner had tossed it in a dumpster.

She grabbed a hook threw open the dumpster lid and pulled it out. Added three threaded pins and BAM.it worked. Then not satisfied with the bulb, she fished out an awesome globe bulb and said "take it". Wouldn't take my money and made my day. Would I come here again for my lighting needs? Absolutely as I will always remember service like this. Fantastic place. Thank you Amy

I have been looking all over town for a replacement ceiling fan. I've been to lamps plus, lowe's, and home Depot with no luck. I had no idea lights beautiful even existed, even though I've lived in Ventura my entire life. What a hidden gem! Although it's not a huge store, their selection is top-notch and their customer service is excellent. Within 10 minutes I found two fixtures, placed an order, and I was on my way! Be sure to check out lights beautiful next time you need some light in your life!

I walked in this morning hoping I'd find an amazing lamp for my living room. They have many choices! Too bad the customer service rep didn't acknowledge I was there. She was with other customers, but she could have said hi or smiled at me. I waited by the counter as she talked to the other customers, but I still didn't get any signal that she'd eventually help me. Overall not a welcoming environment.

I walked into LB today and the gentleman behind the counter was assisting a customer. He looked up and didn't smile, didn't say hello let alone I'll be with you shortly. I wandered around the store looking at various fans (my intention was to buy three fans and light fixture for the front porch). I found what I liked and would have purchased all three fans and fixture.

After browsing for a five - ten minutes, the gentleman still did not acknowlege that I was in the store. I chose LB because I want to shop local and not the big box stores. I then walked out and won't return.

After looking at Lowes, Home Depot and lamps Plus, I finally found help with Scott at Lights Beautiful. Just know that when they get to you, you will have their undivided attention. I can't believe that a place like Lamps Plus doesn't have parts! Enough complaining about the competitor. Scott was able to find exactly what I was looking for.

They also had the art lights I was imagining on display! It's a small store with a huge selection. I needed to order parts to make some old light of mine work in a new application. Scott was able to order the right stuff. If you have a special circumstance, this is the place to go. I will also go to them first from now on.

This review is a few months overdue. We were looking to replace our dining room fixture last fall and made the mistake of going to a place up in TO that was jam packed with flashy fixtures that were not our taste at all. We should have started here in Ventura at Lights Beautiful because I really like to buy local but I mistakenly thought LB was too expensive.

When we walked in we were greeted warmly and asked what our tastes were. They had many beautiful contemporary fixtures tastefully displayed and we quickly found one we liked that was in our price range. Amy was so helpful and said "why don't you take it home and try it out?". I was so surprised but we did just that and we found it worked perfectly in our dining room.

We wanted to change the chain to a rod and Amy was also very helpful with that and even loaned us the link opener tool which made our installation much easier. We would definitely come back and highly recommend LB.

The staff is amazing. I needed a light for my dining room but didn't know exactly what I was looking for. With just a little description of the room and my taste, Scott immediately had two suggestions. Went with one of them and my dining room looks amazing.

I went to Lights Beautiful today to find lights for our home remodel. Mine was the only car in the parking lot and I was the only customer in the store. When I asked for help, I was basically told that she was too busy today and that Scott (whoever that is) was gone with his wife for another week. If they were too busy to help a customer then the door should have been shut with a closed sign on it. Now I have to find another light store because I won't return.

First time in Lights Beautiful today, the lady there was really nice and the selection in the place great! The only place that I found covers for my chandelier!
