Jason and Jack are great guys and true fan professionals. Never have I called a company for help and IMMEDIATELY received friendly, informative solutions. Not kidding, I called them yesterday, while I was up on my ladder, and they actually walked me through the complete installation process. Now I've got a great fan that actually works, a futuristic control switch on the wall and a very happy wife and family! Yea!

The owner was very helpful in diagnosing the problem with my fan. The receiver I needed isn't made any longer but he makes a replacement receiver. I got the parts in a few days which included very detailed instructions on how to replace the old receiver. All went very smoothly and within hour I had saved a very expensive Casablanca fan. I strongly recommend the Fan Man.

These guys saved the day. My daughter just moved here and a socket ring for her floor lamp go lost in the move. Needless to say we went to several stores And ordered the part from the maker only to get the wrong part. I called fan man and the gentleman who answered explained how to take the lamp piece off to measure for the correct part. We stopped at the store yesterday and whoop whoop. After shattering the glass in a bedroom light fixture (butterfingers) I looked all over town trying to find a glass replacement as opposed to replacing the entire fixture. The variable-speed Casablanca fan in our master bedroom was 35 years old when it stopped working. After getting advice from the Fan Man's incredibly knowledgeable technical support person, I purchased a repair kit from them and fixed it myself. This company is amazing!

An electrical problem burned up the control board on my 10 year old Casablanca Panama II ceiling fan. Needed control board for a 17 year old Casablanca fan. Casablanca no longer makes the part or supports repairs. Fan Man Lighting had the answer - they manufactured their own control board and wall control switch. I called and they helped me determine the correct repair kit and mailed the kit the same day for 2 day delivery. My repair cost ~$149 versus buying a new similar fan for $400. Fan Man Lighting was very helpful, professional and prompt. Excellent service - highly recommended.

I don't know how I stumbled upon Fan Man Lighting, it certainly wasn't by walking past their store, as I'm located on the northeast/atlantic seacoast. I think it was a Google search. How lucky I was to meet the owners and staff at Fan Man Lighting. After hours of searching on the internet for a Casablanca part, and talking with several sales and service providers, hands down, the staff at Fan Man Lighting was by far the most knowledgeable, the most helpful, and the most forthright, and candid. I'd go out of my way to purchase a ceiling fan or lighting from Fan Man Lighting, as their knowledge and service is over the top, terrific.

I purchased three fans from FML to replace ones that wore out after 20+ years. During installation, my electrician found that a part was missing that was critical for the job. I called the store, and as I'm almost an hour away from the store, they got the part and ran it down halfway, where I met their guy and got the part, just in time to keep my electrician busy. Just called them and Beth was great. They are so knowledgable about casa blanca. I have a 33 yea old casa blanca and it is still going strong. she alerted me to the fact that I should not use LED bulbs in the light kit because it could damage the circuit board. She also helped me diagnose what I would need if I have damaged my fan.

What a great shop! I have owned a Casablanca ceiling fan for many years. Lately, I was having problems with the Comfort Touch remote control - sometimes it would work, at random times it would switch speeds, often flipping to the fastest speed in the middle of the night and not responding to the remote. I looked online to see if I could by replacement parts, only to find that Casablanca had long obsolete this system and had no stock of replacement parts.

Then I called Fan Man Tech Support on a lark, since they showed much more technical knowledge on their website, in the hope they might have a replacement kit. Jason turned out to be the font of knowledge on this fan and control system. He knew everything about it, and their shop was even custom-producing replacement kits to keep old fans like mine running.

I installed the kit quickly and easily and it works great! I'm looking forward to many more years of use of my fan. It's not often that you can find people who really know their stuff and are willing to help. Jason at Fan Man hit this one out of the park, and I couldn't recommend anyone more highly!

Don't use Fan Man Lighting for any fan/lighting fixture needing repair. They ripped me off of almost $150.00 for a part that didn't work and never told me it was a "NON-RETURNABLE" item until after I had it. Ended up having to totally replace the fixture. And NO I did not purchase the new fixture from them. I'll NEVER give them another dime! Highly recommend you go to a more reputable store that won't take your money and do nothing for you.

I needed to order a replacement remote and all the other websites suggested a $60 dollar remote. fanmanlighting.com suggested a remote that was more reasonably priced but was still the official brand. I ordered it and it works like a charm. Saved me some serious money. The website is truly a treasure trove of ceiling fan knowledge and I hope it stays on the web for a very long time. Ordering was painless and shipping was fast.

We received amazing customer service here. Very knowledgable, personable and took the time to help us customize the perfect fan/light for our house. I was able to separately choose the base, light fixture and even a different blade color. We had a setback when installing and they walked thru it with us over the phone and it ended up being a small user error with the remote. Prices are competitive but the exceptional customer service and customization make it WAY better than any big-box store. Very happy!

Before stumbling upon www.fanlighting.com, I'dI spent 5 or 6 hours on the net researching how to find a 2nd remote control for a Minka Aire ceiling fan and found that I was led from one wild goose chase to the next by ill-informed staff, bloggers, and ceiling fan supplier web sites. Fanlighting.com has a relatively low-tech and simply web design (most of it txt - based) but on every page, there were extremely well thought-through explanations and descriptions of the products that they sell (moral: Beware of web sites whose glitzy designs hide poor businesses).

I was already impressed so I left them a voicemail message (didn't bother to do so with the many other sites that Id visited) after midnight last night. At 80:1am this morning an extremely well-informed, politte, friendly, and helpful male voice gently but quickly guided me through the relevant issues to addess and questions to answer in order to arrive at the correct model number for my purpose. I'd already decided to buy from their site, given how helpful they'd been to me and expected to pay an above average price at what appeared to be a fairly low-turnover, family-run enterprise.

What I was not prepared for was that their price was signficantly lower than all of the 9 others online sources for this item -- even than EBay! I can't speak too highly of this company at this point and would readily recommend them to anyone needing something from their wide product range.

Went there today to pick up a replacement light kit for a ceiling fan, but walked out with new globes, a new dining room fixture and sconces. GREAT selection and prices - everything seemed to be on sale! I'd priced things on the internet and the prices here were lower, which was a very pleasant surprise, and the service we got made me happy to part with my money and support a local business.
