I wish I had checked the reviews before purchasing from this company. I ordered a grill from them & 17 days later, it still had not shipped even though my order confirmation stated shipping would occur in 3-5 days. As the other reviews stated, there is no way to reach a person through their customer service number. You have to leave your phone number.

It took 4 days to get a return call. I finally called the corporate office & got the name of Dustin Hall. Once I emailed him at dhall@brinkmann.net, I started getting emails from customer service telling me that my grill was shipping. That was 4 days ago & there is still no record with UPS that it has shipped. When I emailed that I wanted a refund, I received a reply from customer service stating that they had filed for bankruptcy & would not be honoring any warranties or granting any refunds. How they have an A+ rating with the BBB is beyond me.

What is with these people? We bought a $400 gas grill from them and have a small issue with a part and they will not return my call. Their customer service is a misnomer.should be customer frustration. TWICE I have left my phone number to call me back and NOTHING. I tried email. NOTHING. The computerized phone system *sweetly* tells you they have people waiting to help you. IT IS A LIE. DO NOT BELIEVE IT.

They also say you can do an online chat with them on their website and I have searched and searched without luck trying to find that link. Unless you want endless frustration, you will NEVER EVER buy from these people.

Brinkmann Corporation has terrible, bad, horrible Customer Service. Products do not ship in a timely manner and there is not a way to speak with someone directly about a problem with an order. You have to leave a phone number on an automated phone system and then it takes almost two (2) days for someone to get back to you. If you miss the call because you can't answer the phone when they call, you have to call back and get put back in the phone cue and wait another day or two for them to call back hoping you'll be available when they call.

Heaven forbid they owe you money for a refund and you try to speak to someone to get your bank card account corrected. You don't know how long after you order something that Brinkmann ships the product. They use UPS as a shipper and if your order gets lost, as mine did, a UPS investigation takes another eight (8) Business Days. Then, if the order can't be found you have to go through the whole cycle again.

And then, because Brinkmann has such a screwed up inventory control system, you have to hope that the product is in stock and not back ordered which takes another eight (8) Weeks. I had issues with this company several years ago and was hoping things had improved but they haven't. What a poorly run organization!

Seriously the worst company I have ever dealt with on the phone. I called them about 15 times in one week to order something. They have a donk-tech menu system that requires you leave your number so they can call you back.sometime later in the week, it turns out. Once they do call you, God forbid you don't answer because they will NOT leave a message. Don't walk, RUN from these clowns.

DO NOT BUY A BRINKMANN BBQ! I bought one and it did not heat up. I contacted their "Customer Service" many times trying to find a solution. They had me do various checks and servicing of the BBQ, I then spoke with a Customer Service Manager who had me do more checks then requested pictures of the BBQ lit to be sent. He told me that their "engineers" could not see any reason why it wouldn't work and I asked to be referred to his boss.

After that I had no response to my emails to him or my phone calls to his direct line. I then contacted Customer Sevice online who had no record of my complaint and calls. I had to email them a summary of my awful experience and their response was also that the "engineers" saw no reason why it didn't work properly and that perhaps a video of my BBQ lit might be helpful. REALLY?!?! SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF TIME AND FRUSTRATION.JUST DON'T DO IT!
