Hello, I'm Steve Hodes Jr., owner of Moonlight Decks.
I created these lighted post caps because, like you, I was looking for a unique way set my deck apart from the neighbors. I searched everywhere I could think of to find deck lighting to fit 6x6 posts. Finding nothing I really liked, I decided I would have to make the deck light myself. As you will see, the results are stunning!

My wife and I love to sit out on our deck and soak in the soft moonlight deck lighting! We also had lights installed around our swimming pool and pool patio. Work was done just as promised and is still enjoyed a year later. Excellent workmanship and reliability. I would give Moonlight Decks 5 stars. Side note: nothing to do with Moonlight Decks work, but think about when to have the lights installed if you are doing a larger project.
We had a patio poured after the lights were put in and the guys pouring the patio did not show any care for the lights. Knocked over, spattered with cement, wires cut, etc. In hindsight we should have had the lights done after.

Steve was great! His prices were very competitive. I recently bought a house in Brookside. I needed lighting and Steve came up with great ideas. It took less than two hours and my house was completely transformed at night. It's amazing how good it looks. I highly recommend Steve and Moonlight Decks.

The owner scheduled a consultation on Sunday, October 26th and discussed his plan and pricing for installing lights. He said he would be out on Wednesday and hoped to have the work done by Thursday, so I agreed to move forward. As promised, they were out on time on the day promised. Not only was the work top notch, but it was done a day earlier than originally expected.
I couldn't be more pleased with the final result of our lighting. It looks awesome. Their price was fair, but their service and quality of work was exceptional. I would highly recommend Moonlight Decks to anyone interested and plan to work with them for future lighting needs.

Just received the silver and the white Low Voltage post caps. I can't imagine a better design. Simple and functional plus they look extremely durable. I am glad I asked for a sample of the silver vein as I was convinced I would be using the white caps with my all white railings but I found that the silver looks really sharp and contemporary. I can't wait for the deck to be finished to see the effect of these lights. Great job.

Thanks again for the great service/product. When I tell people the cost they think I'm crazy. Then they see them up close and in action and agree its a superior product that is also a unique and functional addition to the deck. Why spend $20k on a deck and then cheap out on the part that "caps" it off? Pun intended.
