Birch & Willow is an artisan studio creating hand made lighting to order in the USA. Our collection includes lighting sconces and pendants as well as functional and decorative screens. Birch & Willow offers our own designs. We also design and fabricate lighting fixtures, screens and weavings in collaboration with architects, designers and their clients including Walt Disney Imagineering, Google and Marriot Hotels. We can make a lighting fixture design just for you, too. Our creative materials - bittersweet, wisteria, grapevine, willow, reeds, twigs and paper - are primarily organic.

Birch & Willow Studio designs and creates limited edition and one-of-a-kind sconces and pendants in Massachusetts. The work is inspired by the natural play between light and shadow. Our mission is to create whimsical lighting with an intrinsic sense of nature. Each pendant and sconce is made with sustainably harvested materials and handmade paper.
STUDIO HOURS: In order to provide personal attention, studio hours are by appointment only. Explore our website to find images of and specifications for sconce and pendant lighting. You can select sconce or pendant designs shown on the website. Consider the possibility of our modifying existing sconce and pendant designs to meet your design and lighting needs.
Birch & Willow lighting fixtures are made by hand to order in Massachusetts. You can select from a variety of weaving materials and styles, paper samples, and suspension options (see coils and canopies) when placing your order.
