Unity Manufacturing Company was founded in 1918 on the south side of Chicago, IL as a general manufacturer. Over time we evolved into a innovative manufacturer of automotive, truck and emergency vehicle lighting products under single, private ownership of Henry Rew Gross in 1923. In the mid-1920's, Unity started production of its line of post-mount spotlights.

The company expanded into the manufacture of automotive and heavy-duty truck road lights in the 1930's. In the late 30s and the 40s Unity's Manufacturing efforts shifted gears in support of the United States' war effort.

Unity is the world's largest manufacturer of post-mount spotlights. We are also a major OE supplier of both auxiliary and emergency lighting products. Our product range includes post-mount spotlights, roof-mount spotlights, fog lights, driving lights, off-road lights, work lights, hand-held spotlights, and decklights.
Application Search: Find the right spotlight and installation kit for your vehicle using year, make, and model. Reverse Search: Know a bracket number, but don't know what vehicle it fits and with what spotlight.
Unity Worklights provide added safety illuminating the work area offering greater visibility. They are great for any working truck including utilities, wreckers, construction, industrial, public works, police & fire, agriculture, and recreation vehicles.
Unity Manufacturing has been around since 1918. In that time we have made many different models of spotlights, rooflights, and roadlights. Our vintage models S6 (6" round Par 46), F1 (6" round Par 46 Roadlight) and H1 (5" round Par 36) have been in production since the 1940s. These lights are still made almost the same as they were in their time (with the exception of switching to some better quality parts) in our Chicago, IL factory where we still stamp, machine, buff, chrome plate, and assemble in house.
