I went to buy a new vanity light fixture because our old one was broken.the metal shade had detached and was hanging. The guys looked at the picture of it, handed me a small metal ring, and said, "That"ll take care of it!" It was a replacement piece that had come off the old fixture and was lost. They saw right away what was needed to fix it, and handed me the part.with no charge!

I was prepared to spend about $300 on a new light, and they handed me a free part and didn't make a sale! Needless to say, I'll be coming back! Well done, Globe Lighting. Playing the long game!

We worked with Mike on picking each and every light fixture for a new house we are building. I cant even begin to describe how amazing he was to work with; he went above and beyond on every single thing. He would constantly be looking things up for us, giving us suggestions, helping us through the craziness and just overall being an amazingly nice person. He was so knowledgable and truly deserves an award for what he did for us. Cant recommend Mike and this location more!

I came in one day in Dec. 2021 for replacement bulbs for my track lighting. I'm 0% knowledgeable on track lighting so I very much appreciated Jordan's help/guidance and ability to quickly order the correct bulbs based on a dead bulb I brought in. I then drove less than a mile to the warehouse and got the bulbs Jordan ordered within minutes. Great service, highly recommend, and will return for any lighting needs I have.

Great follow-up. They (particularly Jordan Chon) did great in what may have become a bad situation. I bought two swing-arm wall lamps and installed both. One worked but the other didn't. They replaced the one that did not work and got in contact with the manufacture's rep to provide me with hints on what could be causing the problem. It all worked with the least amount of hassle possible.

I came in here looking to spend money, happy to support a local business. When I walked in, I noticed the customer service area and told the person behind the counter "I'm looking for a lamp for my home office." He hesitated in response before saying, "Yeah they're just spread all throughout" and offered nothing more. From his tone, it was clear that what he was really saying was "I can't be bothered to help you or get off my chair and this is not worth my time or effort." I left without spending any money.

This place was great at helping us today, Patrick was excellent with all the questions we had. So knowledgeable and accommodating. And the fixtures were marked down 40% that we wanted so even better!

As a local designer that has been in business for over 30 years it was a pleasure to walk into the showroom in Northwest and see a familiar face. Especially after what we've been through the last year. The last time I had visited was February of 2020 for a large condo project and yesterday I walked in and was greeted by Jordan, he was the last person I had contact with for over a year at this location.

My client and I had a very pleasant experience, found everything we were looking for and Jordan of course was incredibly professional and courteous. My client said to me while we were exiting the showroom that she would like to come back & have Jordan assist us when we redesign her kitchen. To me that's a good sign of customer service.

I had recently purchased some deeply discounted sconces from another retailer in town. The fixtures were missing some hardware and had some scuffs. Fortunately I was able to fix 'em right up with a trip to the hardware store AND a visit to Globe Lighting, where a very helpful associate, Jordan, knew exactly what I needed (a shade ring and spacer).

He was pleasant on the phone and very confident the solution would work, and when I came in, he proved it! Very happy with the final result and I couldn't have done it without them. Highly recommend this location!

Seriously great people that are seriously interested in helping you solve your problems as it relates to light fixtures and such. Would absolutely keep going to them for advice on how to make your lighting work in addition to having a beautiful inventory. Breath of fresh air as it relates to great customer service these days.

Chase was so nice and helpful! I went in with a defective downrod from a fixture purchased from a "brand name" store. He helped me problem solve and find the right parts to fix it, and did it on the house. Wow! Globe is now my first destination for any lighting needs moving forward. These guys know lights! I've visited the store several times to get help with replacement parts for a number of light fixtures. They are quick to help me find exactly what I need. Big shout out to Jordan Chon. Great customer service. I called and asked about a part. Got there just before they closed for the day. He had it ready to go for me with my name on it and took the time to answer questions.

I could have spent lots more time searching on line for a part, paying the same or more, but it's guys like Jordan that remind me why buying from a local expert is the way to go.

The manager at Globe Lighting in BeAverton (mgr Carlile) just spent 30 minutes fixing a faulty connection in one of our pendant lights. Super good guy- taking a bunch of time repairing a tedious tiny little wire problem. Thank you thank you thank you! No charge!

Okay, if you want the best service ever, go see Jordan Chon! He was amazing! Not only did he offer great service when I chose my light fixtures, when I had an exchange he was just as helpful. He is what you call management material and could teach a lesson to the Vancouver location manager. Promote Jordon Chon, he is your man! I'd give him 10 stars if I could!

My husband and I were looking for wall sconces last weekend. We were never asked if we needed help and when I sought someone out to ask for help, I felt as if I were being a bother. The salesman told me the sconce we were looking at was out of stock but he would do some checking on Monday morning and call me. On Monday afternoon, I still hadn't heard anything so I called him.

He told me he was just getting ready to check on the light and would call me back within 20 minutes. It has been a day and a half since I spoke to him and still no phone call. I wouldn't go here again. I felt as though my business wasn't important enough and the customer service was horrible.

Support a local business! Family owned with great product selection & awesome follow up. Between f2f, email and phone calls my tiny project got huge service. Thanks Jordan!

I had purchased a couple of fixtures from this location in early 2016 and have been so pleased with them. Great prices for great products. Sometimes lighting can be so overpriced. We recently moved and I needed to get more chain for one of my fixtures. Dean was so helpful and gracious in providing me exactly what I needed! A project that I had been putting off for sure, he made it so easy. Thank you Dean & Globe!

Nice place with tons of inventory to look at, both indoor and outdoor. Have bought under-counter and wall sconces here. Just got 2 wall sconces for $100 less than ONE very similar sconce at Rejuvenation, that place is getting insanely expensive. And, much better quality and more interesting than the big home centers. Service is very nice, they won't follow you around or anything, very pleasant. Check it out if you need some unique lighting.

Very nice but no follow through, really could've went anywhere to get my tiny Halogen bulbs but chose the convenient Globe store. Guy said he would put in the order so I could pick up from the distribution center down the street. I gave him 2 1/2 hours till I went there. Turns out he simply forgot, okay no worries but then after the distribution center calls him, (while I'm waiting) he puts in the wrong order 120V instead of 12V and claims it's correct. Not very detail oriented. After several calls back forth I got the right bulbs. Next time, I'll go to my local hardware store!

I own a boutique in Portland and needed new lighting in my shop. Jo Mcormack (spelling) was one of the best customer service experiences I have had. She worked with my budget, worked with my electrician and then even drove the lights to us when we were in a pinch. I will refer Globe but more specifically JO to anyone i run across that needs new lighting.

Kirsten has been incredibly helpful in picking out fixtures for two different properties. My husband and I are not exactly interior decorators, and Kirsten walked us through different styles and concepts without being pretentious or pushy. She works on Saturdays. Thumbs up!

I dropped by Globe Lighting because none of the hardware stores in my area had a threaded nipple with an unusual diameter that I needed to hang a vintage chandelier. Dean immediately offered to help me, even though the store doesn't sell parts like that. He went with me into a back room, rummaged through a drawer of old threaded nipples, and found the part I needed. That's what I call excellent customer service!

The most absolute worst experience ever. My husband and I own a business and went in to look at some lighting for a house we are flipping. We walked around for 45 min and not 1 person came up and asked if they could help us. I will never do business with a company that won't even acknowledge you. I will take all of my business elsewhere.

This review is only based on our experience with Joshua today. We came in because we are building a new home and our builder recently switched to Globe as their new lighting vendor. Joshua was AMAZING to work with. He was so nice and patient, gave us suggestions and not to mention very knowledgeable whenever we had questions about anything. This is the kind of customer service I love and hope every business /person should treat their customers.

They have a wide selection of lighting /fans, but I can't say anything about the delivery, installation or quality of their products just yet. Hopefully everything will work out fine since we were a little worried reading the negative reviews, but dealing with Joshua made us feel more confident in our selection and the whole process. My designer spent over $600 on a simple light fixture. How long should it last? After getting the middle finger from globe it appears the answer to that is 18 months.
