I was looking for an Art Deco style fan for my new apartment, built in 1939. Not only was Illuminations able to provide me with a beautifully unique Art Deco fan that is now discontinued, they were even able to modify it to fit a 4 Glass Art Deco shade that I've had for years. I can't wait to install it in my new place. 5 stars!

Philip and his staff at Illuminations are incredibly helpful and highly knowledgeable. They are all about customer service and making customers happy. I have been shopping at Illuminations for over 15 years and appreciate them very much. They are one of the few private retailers left that care about their products, customers. Just recently I bought two light fixtures that were missing parts (in closed boxed).
Clearly a manufacturer error but Philip took it upon himself to take the parts off the floor samples to give them to me for the inconvenience. Same thing happened with light bulbs when I realized once installing them that they didn't fit the fixture. He not only took them back without a problem but exchanged them for higher end light bulbs and didn't charge extra as a way to compensate for the hassle.
I think many would agree that we as consumers are no longer prioritized by retailers in the same way and it is refreshing and much appreciated to see this happening at Illuminations. Thank you.

I had a very positive experience at "illuminations" today. I purchased two beautiful kitchen light fixtures at "illuminations" a year ago. At the time the owner suggested that I purchase better quality light bulbs which should last longer. (Of course they cost more.) Yesterday. a year later. the light started flickering so I returned to the store.
The owner immediately gave me a new bulb for free. That is terrific customer service. In addition they also have a wonderful selection of light fixtures. I highly recommend shopping here.

I was trying to support local business so I went to Illuminations and ordered an outside light fixture. When I went back to get another one and install it was discontinued. The store offered to order me different one light fixture replace it which was fine. The problem was it was already hung up. I was unsure about having my electrician take off the light because I didn't want to be charged if something was taken off improperly.
The owner said that her son would be able to swap it out, just give him a tip. I did that. I gave the tip and then I was contacted about the price I was told that I wasn't what a handyman's price actually is. I agreed to pay the price and we met halfway in the middle ( which is what my electrician would have charged). Lesson, I would definitely go back to ordering lights online.
I would never have ordered a discontinued light fixtures, and I would have been spared some side aggravation on a Saturday morning. For full disclosure the store employee said just take care of the handyman. I assumed that meant I would just have to leave a tip. I have never hired anyone to do work on my house without agreeing to a price. After reading this post I contacted the handyman and I told him I would pay him the full amount he wanted.
I told him I had the money for him and told him to stop by and he said he 100 percent appreciated it. On the website they have a 6 month exchange only return policy which they followed through. NO CASH REFUNDS. 8/18/21 I went to the store to pick up the fixtures. I could have easily carried them out to my car but the manager said not to worry that the handyman would deliver them.
The handyman was NOT asked to hang 2 fixtures. The handyman was only asked to change one light fixture. The handyman requested more than the Electrician and the handyman was paid his full price. Please check your facts. Lastly, apologizing and then calling someone's thinking absurd seems insincere

My husband and I had a terrific experience at Illuminations. Darlene and Phil could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. Darlene seemed to know exactly what we were looking for and provided many options. We finally decided on an item which was exactly what we needed. They even offered us a loaner item while we waited for our purchase to be delivered. The store is stock full of many interesting and beautiful items for the home -not just lamps -worth a visit

I purchased a few fixtures from Illuminations. everyone has been helpful, friendly and they spend the time trying to find the perfect fixture. As a matter of fact one of my fancy bulbs broke- no problem-brought it over to Phil and he replaced it. They stand behind their products.always a good shopping experience and did I mention the magic tricks!

My wife and I couldn't be happier with the amazing service from the crew at Illuminations! You should not hesitate to make your way in as the selection is amazing and the customer service is spot on! PS if you get a chance to talk to Phil make sure you ask him to show you "the trick!" one of the coolest things I have ever seen ! All kidding aside this is a great place to shop and if there are ever any issues they will always be made right! We know first hand! We also love Darleen!
