According to ENERGY STAR, lighting uses about 18 percent of the electricity generated in the U.S., and another 4 - 5 percent goes to remove the waste heat generated by those lights. Our commitment to energy-efficient lighting solutions reduces cost of ownership as well as environmental impact. Your lighting system uses a balance of direct and indirect lighting choices that meet the area's needs.
When the lighted object can be viewed from one direction only, above-grade accent lights are the logical choice. To prevent direct glare, fixtures are aimed away from observers. Place the accent lights behind shrubbery to keep a natural looking landscape. If the lighted object may be viewed from any direction, well lights are the ideal solution.

We hired Design Lighting by Marks to install our generator and the process went smoothly & seamlessly. With the storm that just hit the northeast the generator was christened, running for the first time during the power outage. It worked beautifully and powered our entire house. We were able to help some neighbors by refrigerating their food and charging cell phones. Hats off to Design Lighting!

Mark arrived, as soon as he saw our porch he had a vision and shared it with me. I didn't have to explain what I wanted, he already knew what would make it look incredible. A week later we have a theater on our front porch with the Japanese Maple lit from beneath and wonderful path lighting along the side of the house. His crew was very friendly and did a great job. Mark and his crew really transformed our house. Mark did a fabulous lighting design for our new pool and his crew installed in less than a day. Our pool looks great. We had him back out to do the front about a year later and our house always gets compliments from the neighbors on how nice it looks. Mark and his team also installed our whole house generator and it was the best investment we ever made. They are professional and quick. I would highly recommend.
