I bought my first set of DiNotte Lighting, 1 amber front, 1 red rear, with a 2 cell battery in 2011. Now, in 2022, the batteries do not hold more than 6 hours of charge. Time to order new batteries. It was good news to learn the 2 cell battery is still available and uses the same charging system. The sales staff was friendly and helpful.

Awesome Products! I have been riding with Dinotte lights for thirteen years. I literally would not ride without them, day or night. Don't complain about the cost. Nothing else comes close in quality, and they keep introducing better products: brighter, lighter, with longer battery life. Don't trust your life to mass market junk. Dinotte lights are the real deal.

I've been riding with DiNotte lights since 2007 and they changed my night time cycling life. I can ride faster without the fear of "out running" my lights. Cars give more space when passing me. It feels like I have a street light that follows me around. Customer service is really amazing. You can always talk to a very knowledgeable human on the phone during business hours.
If you are looking to get even brighter lights than you had, they offer opportunities for people to upgrade at a good discount. edit 2-22-22: I recently purchased a second XML-3 which is brighter than my decade-old XML-3. It's cool to see: 1) the innovation in the same product making the new one better all around and 2) the durability of my old one.
The wiring broke (after 10 years. I would say roughly 7 years of using it 5 days per week, some time not riding as much due to working remotely during covid) on my old one and they fixed it good-as-new for only $20! Can you find cheaper lights? yes. Can you find brighter lights? yes. Can you find lights that are designed this well and are this durable? I haven't yet. I would rather pay the price once than keep replacing lower-cost lights.

I have run these lights since 2014 and will use nothing else. There are very few lights as bright, almost none that I can use on longer 8+ hour rides and none at all made to the same quality standards. Yes they are expensive. You get what you are paying for here. American made quality goods from a first rate company with awesome customer service.

For reference, I'm 50 and I've only written a handful of reviews. Someone really has to outdo themselves to get earn a review, be it positive or negative. I've had a Dinotte 140L red taillight for well over 11 years. Previously I used cheaper lights on my commute through downtown LA. I actually chased down a fellow biker with an insanely bright. taillight to first learn about Dinotte.
I still get comments on its brightness so i couldn't imagine a light being much brighter. When it started to malfunction I was actually a bit excited to upgrade to a new Dinotte. When I called Dinotte they were amused that I still thought my old 140L was bright so I can't imagine how bright their 2nd.

Longtime customer of Dinotte Lighting - I first ordered bike lights from them in 2006 and have bought their lights exclusively since then. I placed an order in February for a headlight/tailight package. Dinotte took my money but without explanation didn't ship anything for three weeks. Then an incomplete order arrived without the taillight. Despite repeated attempts, I haven't been able to reach anyone at Dinotte to fix the order, leaving this in the hands of my credit-card company.

I've been riding DiNotte lights for at least 15 years. At the age of 71 I'm down to 20 miles/day Monday thru Friday on Florida's Ocean Road Highway A1A between 5~6 AM except if there's a hurricane. These lights are subjected to ocean spray when there's a strong onshore wind. When I lived in Illinois they survived freezing temps without fail.
I always upgrade when there's an improved/new light. This company has a ridiculously inexpensive repair service and spare parts if needed. I run two headlights; the XML-3 on steady-high and the XPL-3 on flash mode. On the rear I run the Quad Red taillight (except I had them custom make me a Quad Green). {I also use a Varia Rearview Radar by Garmin} DiNotte lights are the most effective on the market and well worth the asking price.

I have 3 of these lights. I've been cycling for 30 years and I cycle in the day and in the darkness. It is a very bright light and it makes me feel much safer. When I first purchased these lights, I had motorist pull along beside me and say, thank you, we could see you a mile back. This was during the daylight! And then they asked me the name of the light. I highly recommend this light, especially if you ride the roads during the day.

Simply the best lights out there. I own a bike shop and refer people to Dinotte Lighting all the time. I use them myself. The Quad Red is visible in bright daylight from a mile away. Yes, you could purchase six SuperFlash taillights for the same price, but they still wouldn't be visible a mile away in broad daylight! Love these lights.

These lights are amazing and the customer service is excellent! I've been running my XML front and 300R rear for over 5 years and they still perform really well. The customer service team is great if you ever need help. Not cheap but as an avid cyclist (commuting and recreational), my safety is important and these are simply the best I've found for both daytime and nighttime use. You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely, hands down, the best lightning period! Bought a set for mountain biking, worked awesome! So good, I used mine for backpacking, snowmobiling, outdoor activities that my life depended on. I was constantly trying to see if they would fail!,n ot a chance, I've had mine for 7 years. Never a failure, not once. I used them snowmobiling in below zero weather, Backpacking in 115 degree weather. Rain, snow, sleet, wind, dust, I simply can't believe how awesome these work!
This is my favorite peice of outdoor gear. Nothing less than top shelf. Outta all my gear I have, This product superseded my expectations over and over. Knowing I have at least one product made in the USA, gives me hope that other manufacturing companies can make quality products that don't need to be made in China, or who knows where. Thank you people of Dinotte lightning for making the best dang product I've ever bought!
I was a coach for middle school kids, and high school kids riding mt.bikes in the Cascade mountain range in Washington state. Myself, the kids, their parents, fellow riders all put our faith in these lights. They just kick butt! Thanks agian.
