We believe in doing whatever it takes to weave efforts and schedules together for a final product that is on time and below budget.
Night Light was born as a low-voltage offshoot from a company Mitch pioneered 10 years earlier. Dean MacMorris came on as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, from the landscape architecture world. It was time to add to our fleet, so we purchased two black, wrapped, Mercedes-built Dodge Sprinters!
Nothing outdoors lasts forever. We know that as well as anyone! Service is part of our vision to protect and enhance your investment in a unique design that matures with your landscape. Eliminate the scheduling hassle by opting for annual maintenance or call us on a time-and-materials basis, and minimize energy spending with a lower wattage LED conversion on an older system.

I would not recommend this company at all. Because of senior lighting designer Nick Surges. Nick is a Facebook troll who will call you names and disgrace you if he does not agree with your comments. I guess Nick thinks this is his world and we all just live in it. Nick didn't your mama ever teach you if you have nothing nice to say you should not say nothing at all, And the name calling what is your problem bro why would you call people names on Facebook that you never even met before.
I can only imagine what kind of business you run if that's how you treat people you've never even met before. Nick I really enjoyed looking at the pictures of your hot wife and your cute daughter in their bikinis.

Chose to use this firm based on a recommendation. I should have done more research. One exterior light was installed in a way that shines into our bedroom window. When brought to their attention the response was that they could reposition it to shine in a different direction. That's great, but it was followed with "this service runs $800". Not so great. They don't return calls in a timely manner. The products they use are great. The service leaves a lot to be desired.

Night Light has provided great service over the years. Our system has been in place with NO issues (other than bulb changes) for a long time. But, it is the customer service that really shines here (kind of a pun intended). I had to cancel two week days appointments and Dawn Fuller, their awesome customer service rep, helped me get a Saturday morning appointment. Jason, their service manager, came out and did a quick bulb change and check of the system. Jason provided some info about possible extra work, but there is no pressure, no hard sell, no overselling. Both employees were masked - even though we were outside. Quick, efficient work. A pleasure to do business with Night Light of Lombard. Highly recommend.

Dean and his staff are nothing less than amazing. They should change the name of the company to "Spectaular Night Lighting, Inc". Once you see their style of lighting you will never go back to the basics. It is totally mind-blowing. They also built a staff of culture poised for respect and customer services. Not only is their lighting great. Their customer service is amazing too. We don't design our own lighting projects anymore. We just email the plans to them. Their team knows exactly what to do.

Excellent customer service, unfortunately super pricey. We bought a house that already had the Night Light landscape lighting system installed. We called to get a quote to replace 4 tree lights and 12 ground lights as most of our LED bulbs were burnt out. I tried to find the bulbs online and couldn't locate them anywhere. They were prompt with an in person meet and offered recommendations. However, I received a quote for $1,600 just to change 16 bulbs and replace a $9 part!
If I changed the ground bulbs myself, I would save $300. This was far outside our budget and disappointing. Be forewarned. Night Light uses proprietary sockets and bulbs for their landscape companies so you are indebted to their service. It's unfortunate as we are grandfathered in and would have no choice but to pay this every few years when we need bulbs replaced. I'm now looking into having the sockets changed to a more universal bulb. It may be more expensive but hopefully with the right maintenance will save us money down the road.

The company van parked near my home is what prompted me to stop to inquire about a quote. Quick phone reply, excited sales rep., appt. made for 1st stop next morning. The day of I waited 45 min's before calling. HE HAD FORGOTTEN! For me, this is a reflection of future customer service and with many options in our area, I'll be taking my biz elsewhere.

These guys are awesome. We purchased a house in Mettawa that had one of their systems. I called them up to replace burned out bulbs and aim the lights up in the trees. Basically gave them cart blanche to make sure the system is running the way it was designed to. The owner came out personally to consult me. He was on time, well spoken and honest. He set my expectations and gave me my options.
Basically the sky is the limit with this company and they were not offended when I did the bare minimum. His crew came on another day and the result is we have a beautifully lit up landscaping and surrounding forest. I am having them come back this Friday to add some LED lights and replace all the existing fixtures with LEDs as well. Can't wait!

A faint click. And suddenly you are awash in soft up and down lighting that adds ambiance and beauty to your landscaping. That's what Night Light is all about- bringing beauty to your home at night. It's almost like having art outside your windows as night approaches. No longer are windows dull black expanses but with the proper lighting- your garden and landscaping become night time art outside those windows.
In the Summer- the lights play off the leaves on the trees in a movable collage of pattern- and in Winter- the icy landscape sparkles and glistens under the lights. Night Light does a great job of assessing your needs and then meeting those needs with dramatic or soft up lighting on trees and key landscape areas, down lighting from even the tallest trees and even pathway lighting that blends in perfectly with your landscaping (they engineered a specialty pathway light) Their maintenance group is top notch coming back to check bulbs, re adjust lighting direction as the plants and foliage grow and updating the timer system.
They are on time and always do more than the job ticket requests. If landscaping lighting is in your future- be sure to check out Night Light.
