Lighting Supply took great care of me. Especially during the pandemic, I try to limit my in-store time. They talked with me over the phone and identified what I needed, and even brought it to the door so I didn't need to go in. I purchased a halogen bulb for my office light, replaced the old with the new, and it burnt out within 5 days. I simply took the burnt out bulb back to the store with no receipt or packaging, and they replaced it for FREE. no questions asked. Great customer service, very friendly staff, and good selection. I will keep coming back!

What a great, local spot! I needed 6 bulbs for all kinds of things around my place. I called 3 mins before they closed and asked if I can run over and grab what I needed after work and the guy on the phone said absolutely no problem. I gave them my list and they ran to the back and had everything. I even got an old school, written invoice. Why drive all the way to Home Depot or the other big guys when you can have the local experience?!

We have had the need for a new dining room lighting fixture for years. We finally saw one that suited us out of state and I brought my photo into Lighting Supply. It was to me like a needle in a haystack but not to Chris. He took it upon himself to track that puppy down and find one that suited us. He was professional, funny, caring, and straight-ahead.
The fixture came two weeks later, he called me, I picked it up that day and voila. These guys are professionals, they care about their work and have been in business since the 1960s. In this world of online everything we must support these types of businesses that have vast expertise in one arena, do the right thing the first time, and care to cultivate a loyal following.
They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. It seemed like they liked their jobs and took them seriously. I would highly recommend this place, if they don't have it they will order it for you. It's on the bus line and they have a car park to the south of the building for free. Seattle needs more businesses like this that you can count on and support for years to come.

Best lighting store in Seattle, outstanding service, very knowledgeable staff and they handle a million different fixtures, you cannot go wrong with them. Prices are good, location good (with downtown parking) and the range of options cannot be beat. Our go to lighting store for fixtures, bulbs and everything lighting.

I have used Lighting Supply very successfully over the past 5 years. Today was a disappointment. I arrived at the counter around 3pm and waited while two gentlemen, one behind the counter and one in front had a conversation and it wasn't about business. Waited and waited and even looked and worked one of the light displays. ing. Waited and waited and even looked and worked one of the light displays. Customer Service was not working today. I left and took my business to Home Depot

As an architect with a primarily residential practice, I've been using Lighting Supply for at least 15 years. They are incredibly knowledgeable, up to date on the latest trends and new lighting technologies and have spent much time with me and my clients guiding us to excellent lighting choices. Rick and everyone at Lighting Supply have been very helpful, responsive and patient with all my questions regarding lights for an art installation I did. Then I ordered a light for my home, and they have been just so great, helping me with the order and bending over backward when I messed up and ordered the wrong lamp for my purposes, and then they went out of their way to get me the right one. They are terrific!

I see LS only has two reviews. One decidedly skewed to the negative and not in line with our experience with them at all. So I will briefly jump in their ring. We recently did a full remodel of our kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms, and 2 baths. We went to LS at the recommendation of the appliance sales guy. We visited the store to educate ourselves on options.
We made some pretty significant changes in lighting and wanted lighting to showcase our new kitchen and living room. We made some decisions and came back and placed the order. We picked the order up, and decided on trims and were on our way with the lighting portion of our project. We are homeowners who are not lighting experts so there was a lot of education and guiding us through the many decisions needed.
The whole time the staff was very knowledgeable, made suggestions to maximize value for us, helpful, friendly and kind. The gave us the information and time we needed. I don't really have any other experience with lighting companies so I can't give them a 5 star "as good as it gets" rating.

After spending hours on the internet, wandering through big box stores, and finally finding what I wanted only to discover it was discontinued, I went to Lighting Supply. They had a library of catalogs in binders behind the desk. I showed them a picture of the style I was looking for, described my project, told them the finish I wanted, and was soon looking at alternatives because they knew right where to look in that wall of catalogs. Very happy with the price, and it should only that 1-2 weeks, which is standard. Can't wait to see them on the wall!

I went here because it is two blocks from work and we needed some special light bulbs. No one at my work knew what kind of light bulb to get or where to get it, so i thought i would go ask these people, since maybe we had gotten the lights themselves form there! I walked in on my way to work, and had to wait 6 minutes to be helped.there were staff not too busy it seemed, but i wasent going to be rude. i waited patiently, and when someone finally did deign to come over and ask me what i was looking for, i told them that we had these light covers that were too squat to take a regular light bulb, but they looked alot like a normal light bulb. i explained everything i could, and asked if they had anything like that in the back.the man insisted that it was "just a reguler light bulb" i told him and told him, and he went itn the back (i thought to maybe look it up) and came back with a regular light bulb, trying to give it to me as if i were a really stupid child who refuses to eat my dinner.( in front of the entire store.other customers, and staff who did not want to get involved) Later, we found out which bulb it was and ordered a bunch of them. the words the rude man said to me still ring in my ears "nothing like that exists, it's just a regular bulb" even though i had tried regular bulbs, spent hours looking at light bulbs in different stores. HELLO? YOUR SUPPOSED TO KNOW THESE THINGS. YOU WORK IN A LIGHT STORE! why they have people there that treat customers like crazy people i don't know. but it gets 12 thumbs down. don't go here.
