I was there as a drop off/pick up location for F1 race but seemed to be lovely shopping area with restaurants, bars, etc. (bowling alley too). A lot of vehicle & pedestrian traffic. National retail stores present (The Container Store, West Elm, etc.) Open air mall atmosphere. No horse races was going on so I'm not sure what it is like during those events or at night. I would return to spend more time for entertainment on next trip to area.

You're greeted immediately by a friendly staff member. They explain everything to you in detail. They have a very large and nice looking bar inside with plenty of tables and sitting areas. There are TV's everywhere for the sport watchers. They have a great group rate package. $60 includes bowling for 2 hours, shoes, and 3 appetizers of your choice and 2 drink tickets. The price is per person but we'll worth it.

It's always fun to visit Gulfstream as it has shopping, restaurants and my Nail spa salon. I just got 2 new dresses for my party tonight and it was easy to park and to find nice store in 15 minutes. Christmas tree looks fun with palm trees. Also concerts and horses are here when season is right. Day time is slow and deserted, evenings are more lively

The casino is small. the slots are up stairs and the horse races are down stairs. the games are newer and a little more pricey. the beers are 6 each not use on the mix drinks. It's highly recommended to wear a mask. They have a nice little few outside the doors. Out front of the casino they have a big statue of a Pegasus stepping on a dragon looks really nice. The only issue I had was the ceiling was dripping water from the a/c vents all over me.

Horrible customer service! Do not buy from here! I have purchased many, many products through the internet and this is by far the worst. BUYER BEWARE! Your product maybe special order, but no indication on website, If you want to return they will charge you a 25% restocking fee, not the 15% as stated on the website. And that Ozzy person is NOT polite and has no customer appeal. Spend your money elsewhere!

These guys are great.we had a lamp of my Mom's that wasn't working and we took it to these guys to repair it.they did a preliminary investigation and found the bulb wasn't set in it's proper place.all fixed and no charge.a bit embarrassing but alls well that ends well. They were very nice and didn't make us feel like idiots.we will return when we require additional lighting! Refreshing to deal with honest and helpful business people. Well done!

I went in with a lamp that I found in my building's trash room; it required a pair of vice grips to tighten a nut and as mine are on the fritz I rather stupidly thought a lighting store would help me(actually I was on my way to Barnett's Hardware) with this teeny, tiny problem. I was greeted rather rudely by a surly counterman who was blabbing with his mates about nonsense.
I knew at that point I should turn around and go to the wonderfully helpful and polite Ace Hardware in Aventura or Barnetts; stupid me. The counterman took a pair of vice grips and tightened the nut while holding the opposite end. (God, how many times have I done this little chore, I thought.) It took him three minutes. I assumed since he didn't inform me in advance that the operation would be gratis in hopes that he would make a new customer.
Not this jerk! I asked if there would be a charge and he said, "Yeah, fifteen dollars." I could see by the ugly expression on his face that I had better pony up the money so I pulled out a credit card. "Naw, he said, the minimum is $25." "I'm sorry, I said, I don't carry cash." (At that point I should have made him a gift of the lamp.) Like a dope I said, "May I come back with cash?" He thought for a minute and said, "Gimmie the card." This idiot must own the place because nobody in their right mind would hire somebody with his bedside manner. I looked around at his merchandise and noticed that they didn't have the taste of WalMart, worse. Live and learn.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. Ozzie is a liar and dishonest. I ordered several items prior to moving into my new home and gave him my Amex which he immediately charged in full. 2 months later when we moved in I spoke to him on a Friday and asked him to deliver everything Monday. He said he had everything in the warehouse and would deliver it Monday morning first thing.
I was calling him all day Monday. Finally around 3 PM on Monday after he made many excuses about not being at my house, he said he was paying someone to deliver the order immediately. He also just then told me he only had 1 item of all the items I paid for. I was pissed since everything was paid in full. I told him he could deliver what he had and I was cancelling the rest of my order and wanted a refund. HE NEVER DELIVERED ANYTHING.
He lied about everything. I called Amex and told them what happened. They credited me until he lied to them and told them I took delivery of everything. It took 4 times with Amex over a period of 3 months to get the credit because he lied to them and kept telling them I either had the goods or wanted the goods etc. He knew what to tell them to reverse the charges back to him. Amex finally understood that he was dishonest and gave me the credit for everything.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE EVER! We purchased three light fixtures totaling over $2,500 and were promised delivery within two weeks however only one of the three fixtures arrived on time. We spent five weeks waiting for the other two fixtures to arrive and every time we called we were given the run around. We were told everything from that "they are on back order" to "they're on their way", "we don't know what's going on", "they are coming from Canada" and several times being told "they should be here in two weeks".
Finally we cancelled the order 6 weeks later and we were promised a refund for the other two fixtures totaling $900. We ordered the identical two fixtures at Home Depot, for literally $2 more, and received them from Home Depot within the week. Now 2 months later, after never refunding us, they are disputing the refund and credit charge because they are stating that it was a special order and they don't refund special orders however no where on their receipts does it say our fixtures were special ordered nor we ever told.
The owner, or least he told us he was the owner, is the one disputing the refund even though he is the one who rang us up at the store. Yet when we personally went back to the store he told us someone else was the owner. He also fed us some BS about how professional they are and how they work with all their customers and keep their promises however, after dealing with this for three months and being constantly lied to and scammed, now they want to keep our money.
In conclusion, we NEVER received the merchandise and now they want to keep our money, $900 worth. You can order the same items at Lowes or Home Depot without the hassle and lies. BUYERS BEWARE!

Gulfstream Lighting has a lot of items to pick through but once they make the sale they do not follow up on the order or contact the customer. I ordered a light from them on 3-5-13 and still dont have it all I get is the run around I will not do business with them again and suggest others to do the same.
