Services
Elevate your business to an intelligent enterprise with cost-effective technology that simply works. Transform your environment and empower your people to work smarter and more efficiently. DFA is a great partner for us on many projects from our new conference rooms to our corporate theater and has incorporated great technology that complements our business practices.
These special application systems are the most likely way that you've heard and seen DFA's work before. Literally millions of people have listened to audio systems and watched video systems that we've installed.
For decades DFA has partnered with local municipalities on a wide variety of project types. Reliable and easy to operate audio visual systems allow for better communication with the public and can provide dedicated press feeds for dissemination to the community. Today's courtrooms must have the technology to communicate effectively to the jury and the recording capabilities to create an accurate record of the proceedings. Help your team be more productive and communicate better with smart technology in your meeting spaces.
Technology is the one facet of your home that will be touched constantly by all members of your family. Surveys have shown that most people would rather temporarily lose electricity or running water than lose their Internet service. A properly designed WiFi system will ensure you get good signal strength and all of the bandwidth you're paying your ISP for EVERYWHERE inside and outside of your home.

Ken Patterson at Tennessee Lighting Co. was recommended to me by someone in our community, and I'm now sorry that I've wasted any time with that company. I originally reached out to them in January to see if we could get a quote on curtains for our school play. I never heard back from them, but after talking to the person who recommended them I finally got a response. (I'm pretty sure the gentleman in our community contacted Ken to ask why he hadn't responded, which is what prompted him.) Ken Patterson came out to our school on January 24th, took measurements, and said he would go back to the office to work up a quote.

I told him that we would like to have it as soon as possible as there was a grant we were hoping to write and needed the quote to include in the grant proposal. He assured me that he would get it to me quickly. Today it is May 10th, almost four months later, and I still haven't received a quote. I called him over a month ago to ask where it was, and Ken stammered with a "Hmmm, I thought I sent one" type of answer.

He said he would check in his files and would get back to me. I waited several more weeks for him to get back to me, and he never did. He never sent a quote nor reached out to us. I emailed again on May 1st to see if he would send the quote, and again no response. It is May 10th, almost 4 months to the day from when I first talked to Ken, and I still do not have a quote.

The only other time when I've dealt with customer service this poorly was trying to get someone to quote a gutter replacement, but even they eventually showed up and did what they said they were going to do. So if you enjoy wasting your time, then this is the company for you. If you're like the rest of us and simply want a business to do what they say they'll do, I would avoid Tennessee Lighting Co. at all costs.

I should have heeded the early warning signs that their company (or at least Ken) was not geared toward customer service, so hopefully I can at least warn others so that they don't find themselves in the same situation. Caveat emptor!

Not a store for electronics, they help set up sound sysyems and such for churches and places like that. This is not a store. However, I have to say, the person there was extremely helpful on what I might need. Took time to explain various options when I told him about my situation. Really did appreciate him taking time to help me out. If I needed the services they do, I would definitely use this place.
