If you are not completely satisfied with an All American Turf Beauty application to your lawn, we will re-apply the application at no additional cost and continue the regular lawn treatment program. Amazing service, from the beginning sales call all the way to response time for first application. The turf specialist has made himself completely accessible in the northern Iowa region. Allowing for after hours calls when I have questions. Very respectful and knowledgeable gentleman. 10 out of 10 would recommend for anyone with lawn difficulties

So I first used All American Turf Beauty in Cedar Rapids in 2019 and, unfortunately, did NOT have a good experience. However, when I voiced my concerns, the owner of the company-Mr. Kevin Johnson-reached out to me personally to discuss the issues I had documented. He then came up with a plan to address all of my concerns AND came out to my property and did all of the yard maintenance, seeding, aeration, etc HIMSELF to make sure it was done properly.
My yard had now gone from a literal patch of mud to having healthy green grass growing. I think it shows great integrity on Mr. Johnson's part to handle a customer concern directly and I greatly appreciate his effort, hard work and direct communication with me. I'm signing up again for a yearly maintenance plan and I have faith that the great results will continue.

Sam and the All American Turf team were extremely accommodating with our unique situation. A tree fell on our house requiring a complete re-shingle repair on our home. Prior to our roof repair job our Christmas lights were installed, I called AATB and explained the situation they immediately removed our lights. The roof repairs were done, the NEXT DAY AATB made another trip to re-install our lights. OUTSTANDING SERVICE! Thank you Very Much.

Aweful service especially if you have dogs! We used this company for only 2 years. The 1st year was great, they called when the showed up so we could make sure our dogs were inside. They were always on time and always very courteous. The 2nd year (2021) we added additional services and it has been nothing but problems. The techs never called to tell us they were on their way, they sprayed WHILE our dogs were outside, they left our gates opened when they were done and our dogs got out of the backyard.
A couple of times they only did the back yard treatment but charged us for the entire front and back (we have a Ring and clearly could see they never did the front) There were times they would call to say we will be in the area and have you on the schedule tomorrow and then either not show up or show up 3 days later. The customer care center would "escalate"our complaints but we never had resolution. Terrible company and will never recommend. We are still on contract for 1 more year of lights and then we will be done with them for good.

After using TruGreen and Spring Green, I was looking for a lawn company who would actually address specific issues I had with my lawn such as a mossy area and patchy areas that I suspected was a grub issue. I expressed this to the gentleman from All American who came out initially and told him of these areas that needed special attention. Over the year that I used their service these areas were never addressed.

We have used All American for many years. Very professional service in they are timely, use products appropriately and have good, caring people. I have a strong turf backgroud and when I mention any issues with my lawn they are quick to pickup on the comment and take care of the issue. I would highly recommend All American Turn Beauty!

We built a house on a rather large lot, ~.75 acres in 2018. We sodded the front yard directly around the house, but the back half was left as prairie grass. I called around to ask for advice on how to manage that so eventually it could be considered yard. All American Turf Beauty came up with a great plan, 5 treatments yearly of the sodded area, 2 per year for a full yard.
The full yard was an attempt to kill the weeds in the non sodded area. They treated our yard for nearly two years. Spring of this year I was not home for the first treatment. However the back half of our yard looked like a dandelion farm. More weeds than anyone in the neighborhood. When they came out for a second treatment I watched and saw that he did not treat the full lawn.
When I asked the technician about which treatments were supposed to get the full treatment he acted as if I was lying or trying to scam a full yard treatment. Repeated that the contract said 5500 sq ft and no more. I called the corporate office and they assured me full yard treatments were on the contract. When I talked to the tech again he claimed that it was corporate's fault for not letting him know and really started to get a bad attitude with me, continuing on with the sq ft listed on the contract.
I realized that they had treated my yard for two years and trusted that they were doing what was agreed upon. At least it was clear this tech was not. I asked corporate to look into how many times the back half of my yard was ignored. They were unable to tell and refunded me for that portion of the yard for 2020 and sent the tech out to treat the back half of my yard.
I thought it was a classy move, so I stayed with them. Tech (Dillon) called me to tell me he was coming back out, still never apologized or took accountability. Instead he acted annoyed and even left the gate open which meant my dog got out. I let it go and continued to let them treat it. Summer treatment was fine, and we had our fall treatment this week.
I believed that the fall treatment was full yard, but noticed that the tech did not treat the full yard. I also noticed one of our basement windows looked to have really dirty water spots. When I went to inspect I saw that we had spots at some points up to 5 feet up onto the siding of our house. The security camera from the window showed it was the tech carelessly spraying the side of the house.
It was not dangerous, but I have to clean my siding where he over-sprayed. When I reached out to corporate they checked and verified that he should have treated the full yard on the visit. We felt we didn't have a choice but to cancel the service; we could not trust that the job was getting done. The tech really didn't care about what we were trying to get done with our yard like the initial salesman that we agreed with.
In all honesty when I pay someone that kind of money I expect them to care about what they are doing and not just see it as another yard. Treatment effectiveness: For our sodded portion it was okay, did not have the greenest yard but did not have weed issues. For the tough part of the yard it is inconclusive. I was unable to see or know when it was treated. Customer service: Corporate was great, helpful and apologetic. Tech was apathetic, seemed to be there for the paycheck.

We live in Cedar Falls and have used their service for a number of years and are on the annual program that has the multiple applications for fertilizer and weed control. I've used other companies and have found my yard looks the best with All American Turf Beauty. I asked for a head's up when they come and I get a text the day before every time. I have also asked for specific help in areas which they always oblige. They were recommended to us and we have been very happy with the product and service. I would highly recommend.

I will never use this company again! We had a brand new concrete sidewalk installed from the front of our house to the back yard. 22 hours after it was poured I witnessed the tech tromping on the sidewalk and putting a crack in one of the panels. I had to run down from the deck to throw his hose off to the side so it did not drag on the new sidewalk. Companies response: our tech claims he did not walk on the sidewalk so we are not responsible. Good thing I have pictures of his muddy boot prints.

I started using this service as I had admired a neighbor's lawn and All American had been treating theirs. They have been prompt with service and polite in conversations on the phone. My lawn is weed-free and the maintenance plan is cost-effective. I would definitely recommend them in the Clear Lake area. Service: Weed control

We were approached by All-American to treat our lawn this summer and we were excited to give them a try. HOWEVER, our lawn has only gotten worse since they treated it! They have been out twice now and it is horrible! There are all kinds of weeds popping up that we never had before. I am incredibly disappointed and I would think that they would be embarrassed to have their name shared as the service we are using. I wish I could add before and after photos for you to see!

So I'll preface this by saying I personally don't use All American Turf Beauty, but my next door neighbor has and does on a routine basis. My neighbor is 94 years old and can't manage his lawn care. While his kids help by mowing, All American Turf Beauty handles all the aerating, over-seeding, fertilizing, etc. To a passerby you wouldn't realize that my neighbor probably hasn't touched his yard in years due to how nice it always looks.
I am writing this review because the last time there was work done; in preparation before Winter, on this lawn, I came home to a small tree I had planted in the Spring in my backyard being cut and gone. I have/had no proof of what happened to the tree, but it just so happened the day my neighbor's yard was aerated and seeded. I had been travelling for work and it took me a month to reach out to someone at All American to voice my concern.
Now a lot of businesses would tell you to go pound sand; having no evidence, and just blindly speculating they were responsible for something like this. I not only got a call back within an hour, but Logan at All American Turf Beauty personally went out to inspect the tree and give me his findings. He was very professional and volunteered to send one of their specialists who could try to determine what could have cut the tree the way it was cut.
Deer don't wander around this area, and the cut was too high for a rabbit (and probably too thick for a rabbit to bite through), but he was sure some sort of animal likely bit the tree off. The principle wasn't the money part as the tree only cost me $30, but the fact that it was just suddenly gone without explanation. If he handled things poorly I would've pursued things differently, but from a principle stand-point he won me over on how well he handled my concern.
How a business handles problems tends to speak to me sometimes better than how they operate under normal circumstances. In this case with the promptness of the response and handling my concerns as well as they did, I was very impressed with this business. If and when I need landscaping in the future they will be the company in the Ames area I will contact as I can see the quality and consistency of their work and now I know how well they interact with customers.

We have had American Turf care for our lawn for several years and had them install landscape lighting and have very pleased over the years with their service. When at a loss for my daughter's wedding, as we wanted lighting in a HUGE building, and frankly was reluctant to do it ourselves, I called their lighting division, Nitetime Decor. Darryl, a very sweet and amiable rep, met with us at the building, listened to our desires, made great suggestions, sketched out the design and he and his team implemented it perfectly. It was just as she imagined and had hoped. The crew was professional and dependable. Big Thanks to All American.awesome job!
