This store definitely need sales training and employees with more common sense. Read earlier review about customer not getting any help. Believe me you're better off being ignored. The two that talked to me were so rude and dismissive I felt like giving them a piece of my mind but I knew they are so inept it would not make a difference. Better to post my experience. Was in the store November 25th around 4:30PM.

I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Walked into store, absolutely not one of the 4-5 staff members even looked at me. I just left. I'm remodeling a million dollar home, hope they don't work on commission. What happened to customer Service?

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM A HORRIBLE MANAGER! TOTAL DISREPECTFUL OWNER! I bought some light fixtures from Hacienda Lighting and then entrusted them to inspect an expensive light fixture I was going to install in my new home. I put no time pressure on them to go over it since I worked out of state and wasn't done with my remodel. Long story short after 9 moths or so I got a call to pick it up.

I was out of town so I told them it would be a couple weeks and was told that was not a problem. When I got back in town I went by to pick it up and they had relocated. I went to the new location and asked to have someone meet me at the old location to get my fixture. I was told someone would call me within a couple days to set up a time. They didn't call I went by a couple weeks later and was told they threw it out. (I paid $4200 for the fixture) I was upset like anyone would be but did not ever raise my voice I just asked for the manager to call me to resolve the issue.

I am not sure if they sold it because it made no sense that someone would throw out such an expensive light fixture without calling the owner and getting permission. When I asked to be reimbursed the manager Dave Borgden ignored my calls for months. I finally went and caught him at the store. He was arrogant, rude, condescending and totally disrespectful.

He called me a liar and when I asked for him to bring in the staff to tactfully reconcile any discrepancies he said he was not going to have a "stupid Kangaroo court" in his office. After he slung numerous insults I got up and went out and asked the rep I had worked with to help clear the air and Dave got in my face yelling as did the owner and demanded I leave.

I was not yelling or conducting myself a way that warranted that treatment. They just did not want the client that was there to hear how disrespectful they were treating me and yelled and attempted to intimidate me so I would not warn the client. I sent the receipt and of course he ignored me for weeks. I got him on the phone finally and he again called me a liar and stated the receipt was fake.

I asked him what they were going to do. His words "nothing!" I informed him that I would contact the BBB file a complaint and give him and Hacienda lighting the review that he earned. He said I would then be dealing with his insurance company. I, being reasonable, said I don't want to do anything but get my light fixture replaced or reimbursed for its value so to avoid all of this and just give me the insurance info.

He refused. I asked for his email a second time so I wouldn't have to dig through my old emails to get it to send him a recap of our conversation and he refused. So the complaint was filed yesterday with the BBB and I am now having to burn time writing reviews because I am a caring person and don't want other people to be disrespected by people like.

My suggestion would be to find a company that respects their clients not does something like this. Oh and to top it off he told me I needed to pay him for storage for the extended time they neglected to go over my light fixture before thrashing it (or selling it) which ever one they did.

The store Hacienda Lighting has many stylish options for light fixtures, sconces, and chandeliers. Stock is laid out in a lovely open fashion, and staff were helpful. Good deals going on right now because this location is moving.

SHAME on you Hacienda Lighting! During your month long move you have thrown away SO many light fixtures, light bulbs, fans, lighting still in boxes, switches, chains, Chandeliers, lighting accessories etc that could have been donated to Habitat, Stardust or another cause that really needs these items. I checked your large dumpster on Saturday afternoon and was appalled at the WASTE. It was full to overflowing with goods that could be recycled or up-sycled. And this is not the first time. You are not good citizens.

Went to this store twice. Both late in the afternoon and despite having a couple of sales associates there, Hacienda had a seeming lack of enthusiasm for serving us. I admit we're not the best dressed people, but our green is the same as everybody else's. Bought a few items. Here's the hitch: they don't have inventory of anything, they have to custom order everything (2-3 weeks) or you can buy the floor model.

Their inventory has some modern pieces and some provincial, dated inventory. Despite not having an inventory, their prices are 20-30% higher than other stores we visited. They had some floor lamps that are identical to ones we also saw at Parnian. Hacienda:$2700. Parnian:$2200. Parnian is a high-end European-style furniture store, not a place to get a bargain. So what is Hacienda? We have more lighting to buy and I suppose we'll just keep looking for a good store, this isn't quite it.

Absolutely ZERO sense of Customer service or care. The "Manager" is the most disinterested and rude individual I've had the displeasure of dealing with. We spend a good deal of money on Lighting and ceiling fans and they are mostly all wrong. Barb is highly unfriendly when she realizes she's made a frustrating mistake, which is basically the way the management deal with you too.

They are disorganized, NEVER follow up, do not fix their errors expeditiously and their management really could not give a damn about you or your business. I would NEVER shop here again and suggest you ensure that you come prepared knowing ALL of your wiring, switch, colors and more BEFORE you buy because they won't take the time to walk you through the pitfalls of buying Ceiling fans and ensuring that what you order will fit and work.

You're on your own in that department. Expect the manager to care little about you or your needs or issues. He won't even introduce himself but you can expect him to talk to you like you're a complete moron. Off our list of places to spend money and I will happily tell all my rish friends too. Disgusted.

WORST EXPERIENCE! I went in to get help for some help with purchasing some can lights. I was helped by David and Jason. Both ignored my order for 9 day's and every time I walked in to ask about the order, they told me that they will call me the next day. 2 weeks out and nothing. I decided to purchase from another place, cause I guess i was not a BIG client.
