We have had a fabrico sun dome for 6 or 7 years. After 5 or 6 years we had to replace the vinyl dome part, but I think it may have been our fault for not drying it completely before storing and stuff grew on the vinyl, the replacement cover for my 24ft round pool was like $450 but worth the money. Our pools gets so warm and pleasant in the summer, really, no my kids think other people's pools are too cold. Is that good or bad?
I love it though. I can just get right in. It takes practice learning when to open and close windows to keep the right temperature. At first it got too hot in the pool! But we figured it out and LOVE it! I will admit it is a pain in the neck to get on. I help my husband each year to get it up over the metal poles, but I think it would be easier if it were 2 men bc the vinyl dome is very heavy and we only have a deck on one side.
It is also nice bc we don't have to use as many chemicals and there is minimal cleaning of the pool bc the dome keeps leaves and bugs out. Also, can swim in the pool at night without bugs getting at us :- I seeked out a place to write a review on this product bc I rely on reviews to make purchases so I want people out there who are intrigued to know that someone else out there has it and loves it!
