We LOVE our Solatubes! The difference these make with lighting is literally night & day. We had two installed, and they transformed a dark hallway leading into a windowless bathroom completely! We don't even have to turn on the light in the day anymore, and they have solar nightlights which have been wonderful at night and were eligible for a tax rebate! These are energy friendly and make more difference than an electric lighting addition ever could. If you are thinking about it - just do it! FIVE stars!

Mr. & Mrs. Perk are absolutely wonderful people. They take you step by step and explain how the Solatube works and where to put it to get the best amount of natural sunlight into your home. They are so friendly and so very kind. They treat you like family and answer any and all questions you have about the Solatube. We purchased 2 of them. A large 14" for the front/dining room area with dimmer and a 10" for the bathroom with the ventilation kit, and solar, battery charged, automatic nightlights in each of them.
They are AMAZING. They have completely brightened up our home! We absolutely love them. Mr. Perk came to do the free consultation, with absolutely no sales pressure at all, and we knew we wanted them. Mr. Perk installed them himself. The electricians he suggested have been installing the Solatube dimmer switches and ventilation fans to wall switches for many years.
It was an excellent experience. In just hours we had 2 new Solatubes installed by Mr. Perk, and the next morning, we had the electrical components installed as well. Had Solatube installed last June and have not regret it one moment of it. I love the light it gives to a previously dark entry hall. The installation was not easy since the ceiling height is around 16 feet and over a stairway. They were professional and went out of their way to make sure I was content with the results. They were very tidy making sure that no mess was left. I absolutely recommend this company.

I love my Solatubes! David did an excellent job of making recommendations for the products that would meet my needs but was conscious about not overselling more than I needed. His recommendations were spot on, and now I have amazing natural light in my home without running up the electric bill! Shawn is behind the scenes and offers assistance coordinating appointments and communication in a very timely and thorough manner. I would recommend them in a heartbeat for the excellent product and quality work. I'm very happy with my decision to install the Solatubes.

Solartube by Perk In., and David and Shawn Perkins were a pleasure to do business with. This is the second home that David has installed solar tubes in the living rooms and kitchen; totaling five lights. This just gets better and better. Many years ago I had one of these light tubes installed in a bathroom that had a vent connected alongside it. Since the bathroom light gets flipped off and on more than a light in any other room, it has saved on the electric bill. Over the years I would see their booth at the home shows, and they offer even more options now for fixture covers that would match your liking for other rooms.
The light tubes funnel daylight from a light catcher on the roof. The tubes have optional LED light fixtures that you can have put inside the tube, plus optional solar glow light for a nightlight. I keep installing another and another wherever I can. The installer will not install during the hot months because he says he can't take the heat up there, so plan for getting one during the cooler months.
