Established in 1906, Charles Lamont Felt started selling lights out of a wagon and doing electrical repairs in the Salt Lake Valley. Felt Lighting has evolved since then to be one of the leading lighting showrooms in Salt Lake City.

Felt Lighting Inc. has had a repair shop for many years. We can create and fix just about anything. Contain no hazardous waste (studies being conducted on possible hazards with lead, copper and nickel content in LED bulbs).

I love felt lighting, they are my go-to guys 100% Jeremy over there. Is an exceptionally nice and hardworking person I enjoy working with him and I oftentimes request him and will even wait if there's customers before me. I never write reviews, but I had so many interactions with the helpful staff here that I just had to. I went in looking for 2 ceiling fans/lights. They showed me around and I even changed my mind the next day and they switched the fan. I had questions after the Electrician came and they looked up the info online to help us. I had to get a longer downrod for the fans and they answered the phone even when they weren't open yet and gave me what I needed. I am beyond impressed. They have my business for life. Great place to find almost any lighting option. I always buy bulbs here, they have much better quality bulbs than box stores, and a large selection of fixtures. They are always very helpful and willing to take the time to compare products, show me options and ensure i get exactly what I'm looking for.

Very happy with their repair service. I had a sleek, fancy modern styled ceiling fan and I couldn't unscrew the glass cover to change the lightbulb. It had a long lasting bulb, we hadn't had to take the glass off to change the lightbulb for ten years, and the glass cover had gotten stuck shut. We brought the ceiling fan in, the guys here were able to get the glass off for us, and only charged us for the replacement bulbs. That's an honest repair job! Much appreciated and we'll be back for any new lights.

We had a good experience with Felt Lighting, and I highly recommend them for their great service. We have a ceiling fan light, and the light fixture part of it quit working. At first I thought that the two lights had burned out, but replacement bulbs did not work, either. The fan was still working, but no lights. I took it into Felt Lighting, and they gave me a quote to repair it.
It was a very reasonable price, so I left it there for the repair. They rebuilt the bulb fitting assembly, and it worked like it did when it was brand new. They stayed with the original price quote. No gimmicks, no surprises. They are competent, knowledgeable, and customer friendly. Give them a try!

This place is the best. The products are high quality, the selection is significantly better than anything you'll find at Home Depot or Lowe's, and the customer service is top notch. The products are a little pricier than what you may find elsewhere but it's worth the extra money, in my opinion. The guys at Felt have helped us find exactly what we're looking for on multiple occasions and we've always been pleased with outcome. Plus, it's a local business so that's a plus too!

I paid this lamp shop to repair the switch on my lamp but had to take it back three times because it didn't work when I got it home. Instead of being mortified and apologetic for my having to come back three times, the salesperson (Anna, I think it was) acted suspicious that I was trying to cheat or bother them by repeatedly coming back. After returning the third time, the switch still didn't work right so I gave up on them. In the years I used this shop they did okay a few times but messed up more than any lampshop I've ever used. I'm not going back.

I have had a very different experience from the last two reviews, I am remodeling a home and was having a difficult time finding what I needed on line. The selection is great in the showroom, but I needed something different than what was available, the sales staff was eager to help me look through catalogs and I found exactly what I was looking for. I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and friendly, I have had only great customer service at this establishment. I will definitely be shopping here again!
