I applied for an accounting position and was contacted by their controller. I was transparent with my availability and what I was looking for (remote/hybrid) before going forward with an interview and he was fine with it. I also brought it up again during the interview so he clearly understood my availability and he once again agreed to be fine with it.
He offered me the job that evening and after I accepted he told me I could no longer do the remote days as he had agreed to with me and that I "better be there" at the times he wanted even after he agreed on my proposed schedule. He said if I was not there at the time he specified that he would not be paying me the amount as stated in the add and he would have to pay me what he thought was fair.
Please BEWARE of the HORRIBLE management here. The girl that needs a replacement is leaving without notice so that tells you something. I can see exactly why. Complete waste of time and stress to go with it.
