Parker Lighting, Inc. has been a supplier of lighting products for decades and is dedicated to developing the best lighting solutions possible for our clients. Parker William started this company in 1965 out of a garage in Inglewood, California and was originally called Parkers Lighting. The "s" was dropped after some time. During this time, large chains like Lowe's or Home Depot were either not large scale or non-existent - creating an opportunity for local lighting needs to be met by individuals from the area.

This is a business to beware of if you are unable to be vaccinated. Louis is proud of his private business power to offer no choice to his employees who could just "work somewhere else" if they don't comply. He's a smug and inflexible man who says "We believe in science and medicine here." without even considering exemptions. Go inside his store and you'll be likely to prove you've been vaccinated.
If you argue with him he will say, QUOTE "When your kids went to school, did they have to get vaccinated? Absolutely. No Choice." This is the prime example of a business that has no issues with alienating their customers because of hysteria.

This business was highly recommended. Poor customer service. No attention to detail. They have a decent selection but overpriced for quality fixtures and others are Chinese junk. Apparently the establishment doesn't want to believe that I had a bad experience and tried to deflect my review. If that doesn't reflect poorly on a businesses ethics practices. I am not sure what would. I would avoid at all costs!

I found Louis to be an amazing, knowledgeable person who made a huge difference in my office lighting -- and my office. The difference is truly light and day! I feel more energized under his lights and we are more producitve and effective in our client interactions. Our staff is more alert and more work is getting done. And. they are staying at work longer and one of them even came in during the weekend to catch things up.

I am an architect and Louis / Parker lighting have helped me out a great deal this year. Not only does Louis get me my lights on time he tells me if there is something that looks the same at a lower price. In addition, for high end lights I get a designer discount, but Louis can get even a better discount most of the time. Lastly, they are easy to get a hold of and can answer any questions you may have about fixtures and title 24. Thanks Louis!

I had an emergency when a plug sparked and caught on fire. Yikes. I knew to ask the electrician to head to Parker's Lighting as I had already known of their lower prices than the big places. The employees there are knowledgeable of their products and always feel at ease knowing I got the right product for the right job. Thanks Louis Hirsch.

Stopped by Parker Lighting, I was helping a friend with her track lighting; appreciated Louis spending time with me and his input not to repair or replace her installation but to discard it and explore other options since it is a fire hazard and she has no room in her budget to replace it now.
