In our facility located on Cape Cod in Sandwich, Massachusetts, we handcraft everything on location using solid copper and solid brass materials that will stand the test of time.Impervious to salt air and harsh environments, our lanterns weather gracefully without maintenance or attention (aside from cleaning the glass, if preferred).
Services
Below is our selection of wall and post onion lights. We use solid copper and solid brass in the manufacturing of our lights. These handcrafted lights are manufactured to withstand harsh weather conditions, but may also be used as indoor lighting fixtures. All of the glass for these onion lanterns is hand-blown in West Virginia.
These onion lights are true products of the historic town of Sandwich, the oldest town on Cape Cod and famously known for its glass work. The glass for these lights are hand-blown at the Glass Studio on Cape Cod, located here in Sandwich, MA. These handcrafted lights are manufactured to withstand harsh weather conditions, but may also be used indoors as well.
These are reproduction lights made with solid copper. Nautical anchor lights traditionally have clear glass and are used to indicate a boat is at anchor. Red is used on the port (left) side and green on the starboard (right) side. These lanterns were also used as railroad signals. Contact us to place an order, or visit our showroom on Cape Cod.
Our variety of sconce styles available to match our chandeliers are made on location by Michael Sampson, formerly of JE Lighting with 30 years of experience. These sconces are available in hand-rubbed brass, black, or oil-rubbed bronze. All are available for use with candles or electricity. Call or e-mail us to place an order.

These people make the finest quality lanterns I have ever seen anywhere! I purchased 8 of them about 9 years ago for my house here on the Cape. Went back there today because the Nor-easter/Hurricane took off my Lantern on lamp post. The bottom section of the lantern was damaged from wind and I was prepared to leave it and pay for the repair. Much to my surprise, the owner told me to hold on for 10 minutes.
He comes back with a new base put on it and I asked him what the charge was.he said there is no charge, we stand behind our products. Absolutely the best people you could ever deal with and ACES all the way for customer service!

Pete & his father offer a ONE-OF-A-KIND Lantern. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars for their accommodations during my purchase. Not only does the large lantern look stunning on my porch but it was built with precision and preciseness. The optic glass radiates off of my porch making it the talk of the street and we are all the way in FL. Needed a little piece of my childhood with me and this echoes that calling.

Had a problem with one of their onion lights. My husband spoke with Pete on the phone addressed the issues and went to the shop. Both Steve and Pete could not have been nicer solved our issue. and gave us some LED bulbs for our other lanterns. Some of the best customer service with a smile that I have ever experienced. they should right a book!

Let me tell you, buying the lamps for the front of my new house was so much better with this family rather than the box store or a distributor: 1. Hand Mande by family and friends in MA. 2. These folks haven't forgotten what customer service means.i could have made a cup of coffee and stayed on the phone with them for another 1/2 hour to just shoot the breeze after the transaction was done. 3.
They are generous people. I had the choice of driving an hour to go pick them up, or pay a crazy shipping price. The owner chopped the shipping fee in half, I didn't even have to ask him to do it. THAT is customer service.

9 year old large onion lamp brought in on a Saturday morning needing repair. Expected to drop it off but was told to wait as they would straighten out some pieces bent by a door hitting it and resoldering one or two pieces. Was in there for 30 to 40 minutes. I just purchased two of the brass onion lanterns for our vintage home that we're adding onto. The delivery came in one day and the lanterns are even prettier in person. The owner also included the lightbulbs. If you are looking for a high quality gorgeous lamp, it doesn't get better than this.
