The Copper House was established in Epsom New Hampshire by Bruce Coutu in 1973, selling a handful of lights and weathervanes made by Golden Eagle Coppersmiths in Seabrook New Hampshire. In 1987, the product line expanded to include lighting made by Northeast Lantern in Exeter New Hampshire. In 2007, the operation was purchased by Tom LeClair, who expanded product lines further to include new lines of weathervanes, all manner of recycled HDPE outdoor patio furniture, Amish-made bird houses and feeders, HDPE and stone lighthouses, wishing wells, windmills, and more.

Tom is very friendly and personable. He is very helpful and he definitely isn't a "salesman". Not looking to sell you everything in the store. They have alot of composite chairs, dining sets, lighthouses, and wishing wells. They have really nice wind chimes. Cupola, weathervanes, outdoor lighting. Most if not all are made by Tom as he is a metalsmith.
All in all it was a pleasant experience. The prices of the things I bought were good. Actually a little less expensive than alot of other places. Quality was better than most of those expensive places also. I will be returning with the wife. ( not sure if that's a great idea) lol. I definitely recommend a trip to the copper house.

When it comes to unique lighting pieces that are very attractive as well as durable, The Copper House is where you want to shop! That applies to the other products as well - Bird Houses, Weathervanes, etc. Tom also offers outstanding customer service and has always been available for any questions that I have.

Was driving through NH, and out of nowhere I saw this place and I just had to check it out. The copper fixtures are works of art as well as their bird houses and little lighthouses. I got a three foot tall lighthouse for my front yard in Colorado. A great souvenir of my adventure in the New England States. The guy that was working that day was super nice and informative.
