Two brothers from Indiana, Walter W. and Frederick L. Hunzicker founded Hunzicker Brothers in May of 1920. The very first sale for the company was a train carload of light bulbs. The firm was named The Hunzicker Sales Company and merchandised light bulbs and automobile specialties. In 1924, the name was changed to Hunzicker Brothers and the inventory expanded to include wiring devices, light fixtures and appliances.
The company continued to grow, new lines of electrical items were added until we became a full line stocking electrical distributor with on of the largest inventories in the southwest.

The strategic account team emphasizes on national & or special accounts or projects that have been targeted or outlined by management. This team is made up of a group of individuals with both a proven track record along with in depth expertise in national, government & industrial accounts. The team was established to manage & support accounts requiring stringent detail to process & compatibility within existing infrastructure. The Strategic Accounts team provides across the board services focused on single point of contacts within the group.
Here are some resources that we've collected as a convenience to our valued customers. Why is LED lighting more energy efficient? Simply put, the converted energy is put to better use. In traditional lamps, 90% of the energy consumed produces heat leaving the remaining 10% as visible light. So, when you hear the term Lumens per Watt, it means that for every watt of electricity consumed a certain amount of light is produced. Consider this example: The old 60W incandescent you are used to provides 660 lumens which translates to 11 lumens/watt.

We have used Hunzicker Brothers in the past for our commercial lighting and the experience was flawless. They helped us plan our lighting for our business and we decided to go back for our new home. Brittany helped us and we cannot say enough great things about our latest experience. She was patient and knowledgeable and has made this step in the building process the best one yet. Super friendly and great customer service. Mind you, my purchase was only about $6, but the level of assistance was amazing from the moment I called, through the visit to the store and final purchase. Long story short, thanks to the power of YouTube and countless Pintrest pages and others that have come before, I'm tackling fixing up, which includes rewiring, a Power Wheels Barbie Pink Mustang that I found on large trash day.
At least one of the motors is shot. I needed some very tiny female disconnect terminals, which will allow me to connect the existing wiring from the battery to two new motors. The big box home improvement stores did not have them, nor did the hobby stores. After a few random phone calls around OKC, I was directed to Hunzicker Brothers. I made a call and after a brief conversation, felt that they had exactly what I needed.
I brought in the new motors, and was assisted the moment I walked in. Friendly staff. Very nice and bright sales area. Great parking. Overall, a great experience and I will gladly give them my future business, no matter how big, or in this case, small.

So here's the deal. Bought 7 under cabinet lights for a job. Paid my electrician to go out and install them. Upon installation, only 6 lights work. Not a problem, got the light back from my electrician and returned the light to hunzicker's. They apologized and offered to rush a new order on the replacement light. I asked if they were going to compensate me for the light not working.
I explained that it wasn't my fault the light didn't work, nor my electrician and I'm going to have to pay my electrician to go back out and install it. The clerk said they'd credit my account which I explained I paid with a check. She said "oh, well. there's nothing we can do then." I then said "that makes no sense?" What's the difference in giving me a credit on an account or a refund?
She said she'd have to get with her manager and call me. Well, she called me and I'm getting a whopping $10. As a person who is also in customer service, I would think hunzicker would try to take care of their customers rather than insult them with a $10 refund.
