Stage Lighting is an art form that I would like to consider the "final glaze" of the painting onstage. It is the one element of the production that visually ties everything together. Without it, we simply cannot see, but with it we can create environments, motion, pacing, concentration and enhanced emotion.
Strip Lights are the roller of the arsenal of stage lighting paint brushes. A large amount of color coverage. If you are looking to light an expanse of light in multiple colors, border and strip lights are a great way to go. Here we have them divided into conventional lamp and LED lamp categories. Often used as foot lights or as cyc lights, they are an efficient and great way to color mix.
An ellipsoidal, also known as a leko, is the workhorse of the stage lighting world of fixtures. With this versatile instrument, you can get many different uses from one single fixture. You can control the size, shape, texture, edge, color and intensity of the beam of light. Flexibility is very important when choosing a lighting instrument.
A followspot is a pointer. It's purpose is to direct the attention of the audience's eye. While that may seem incredibly simple, it is incredibly important. When we want the audience to look at a specific performer, we point to them. In controlling the contrast ratio on stage, it is very common to want the main performer of the moment be brighter than anything or anyone else.
A theatrical fresnel is a soft edged circle of light that can zoom in size from spot to flood by changing the relationship of the lamp with the interior reflector. They are simplistic fixtures that have stood the test of time in their ability to provide basic controllable light. They range in size from a 3" diameter lens to an 8" diameter lens.

The communication was actually really good during the whole return process. It was a little confusing since my return was sent to the vendor and not Stage Lighting Store. The problem is the return policy is not very competitive. I returned product on November 8th 2019 and just now received a partial refund on December 9th 2019. A 20% stocking fee is a little steep, especially when I mailed the product back to the vendor not Stage Lighting Store. The overall experience was actually good, but only if you don't have to return anything.

Let me tell you something about this terrible company. If you have any issues with anything you buy from them they will NOT let you return it. We ordered something for a production almost three weeks in advance that arrived way too late after paying for a rush order and three day shipping. Not only did we waste $200 on them but they refused to take any responsibility for the damage they had done for our video production. Absolutely terrible cosutmer service. Buyers beware. If you end up with Tad Wiggins on the phone you will not be happy. He is rude and disrespectful.

I frequently order from Stage Lighting Store and have always been happy with both the products and service of this company. Shipping is always fast (to Atlanta) and in the times I've have a question about a product or an issue they've always been happy and quick to assist. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve their live production or theatre equipment inventory.

Have been dealing with this company for years. Appreciate their prompt and professional service. While we have experienced delays at times, it appears more associated with the manufacturer's, and we were always made aware of any issues and had options. Couldn't be happier. Oh, and best disco ball selection ever!
